Barbara Leszczynski, nothing says "I'm an old fart in denial about my age and trying to pretend I'm still young" than stating your age as "70 years young". Saying your age as "X years old" doesn't mean you're old, or that the recipient thinks you think of yourself as old. Think about it. "Teacher, today is my birthday and I'm 8 years old!" The teacher doesn't ever think the kid thinks he's _old._ So please, drop that phrase because it actually has the opposite effect from what you think it does.

Stares, eye-rolls, head shakes, you name it. Everyone is so into everyone elses lives instead of their own. People are judgmental and closed-minded every where you look, it makes people not even want to leave their houses, That's why people are so off-putting, it's not the advancement of technology it's that Society itself Sucks these days.

Well michael jackson was the king of pop (popular) but lionel richie was the king of CROSSOVER his music after his 1970s group days is what got him rich and known to a whole New white POPular new fan base which in turn got him and michael jackson paid alot of money. So in turn everybody wanted to get in on it, remember jeffery Osbourn left LTD? Cameo downsized their group, bands were breaking up. Hip Hop was slowly creepin in...it was the 80s! and the a lot of music in the 80s was terrible!

70’s where a happy time. This looks like the 80’s, but people were more real back then.

@Robert Lee, Countertenor Practically the 70's. These people are from the 70's transitioning into the '1st year' of the 80's; which was still like the 70's until mid 80's.

That put a warm smile on my face. Watched Soul Train religiously most of the eighties. Vivid colours. Dance moves. Outfits. Music. What a perfect model of a show it was..

What I noticed from watching this is how more natural and feminine women looked back then.
@davidhaley55974 жыл бұрын
You got that right, there were no questions about gender or why a man can't use a woman's restroom. Like you said, it was all natural like it was meant to be!

After a big bowl of cereal. All your favorite cartoons on NBC, ABC, and CBS. There was American Bandstand. After that , there was Soul Train. After that, you had the whole day of being a kid on the South Side of Chicago. Good times. ❤
