Yes but the other way around :) All realmstone (grave sand being the shyish typ) can be corrupted into warpstone. Thats why we see Skaven scurrying about in all realms instead of have a large presence in a singular one.

I have an idea for Narrative play, it involved the previous Death gods that existed in the realm of death, while Nagash original plan was spoiled by the Sacaven , at the time when the pyramid went out of control and the Death magic was set free in torrents, some of the older Death gods that Nagash had “consumed “ were essentially coalesced into new Death gods , giving birth to new more powerful Death god entities in the other realms with Death magic from those realms., for example realm of beast would have an Orc death god or realms of Chaos Deamon Death god etc. essentially they would have the same goals to bring down that realm under the control of Death but each unique Death god would be like a governor of Death representing that realm, and their end game is to destroy Nagash and take back and restore the realm of Death.

I think the afterlifes still exist in Shyish but that they move towards the center now and are destroyed instead of moving towards the edges and dissipating.

Possible, the core book makes it seem like they are being ingested into it, but that doesnt mean more cannot exist or be created for sure

Pretty much, they were always destroyed but before they would move towards the edges. Now everything is shyish is reversed. Now when the afterlifes lose their belief they seem to move towards the centre and be consumed by it. We are going to need more info on what that vortex is.

I didn't read the story of the Deepkin luring the Ironjaws into a realm-gate. Was that a Malign Portents story? I must have missed it. Also, I didn't read Nagash the Undying King but "nadir" is a word that basically means the lowest point in an object, line or fortunes of a person. So unless it's spelled differently then it's not a word Nagash made up. Maybe I misunderstood what you meant or maybe it's written differently, not sure. I really enjoyed your videos about the realm gate wars as I didn't have the time to read those books myself so it was great being able to catch up with the story thus far. Thanks for another great video. I recommend you almost every day for learning AoS lore. You're a great tool to getting models painted. ;-)

Newer Listener first time commenter, and brand new to AOS amd table top in general. Right now I am just working on painting my Seraphon army and catching up on lore! First off Id just like to say Im very happy I found this page, you offer a lot of great insight but also allowing enough on the side for the viewer to still explore, Kudos. My question is, and maybe this is answered somewhere I havnt seen....is where are the Seraphon going to fall in this massive 4 way war? They obviously have a hige bone to pick with Chaos, but with Nagash on the rise and frankly out playing everyone else atm, will Seraphon back off chaos some to beat back a (at the moment and arguably) a greater foe with the rest of Order, Destruction and Chaos? Or will they do a more 2 front war? I personally hope the Slann are able to make new improved Saurus and more beasts to continue their war effort and improve on their armies since they did originally fail. What are your thoughts? Id live to hear them!

Hey there! thank you for viewing and commenting! Seraphon are an odd one, simply because they havent been included in enough lore. With all of the battletomes coming out since 2nd edition, they've added lore to explain how current events affect that faction... I hope to see a new Seraphon battletome soon with that same thing.

I'm an old school fantasy player trying to catch up. I had to stop a third of the way through the video. There's a problem I have always had with Nagash using time as his allie. I understand the lore believe me, but why isn't Nagash the biggest concern for Tzeentch? Changer of ways. Long term crazy plans that magic users should be all about. But yet they all choose necromancy instead of Tzeentch. .........I should be a black library editor. Hahaha 😝

Finn Feaver Not surprised. Nagash is stupid good in game. I actually managed to kill him once with Gordrakk, though I felt it was do to luck. The other guys dice were hating him something fierce. Overall an intense fight. Wish I could of gotten him with the Foot of Gork. Lol.

Not all dead souls go to shyish. If you dedicated yourself to the powers of chaos, they have claim to them. THis is (partially) what enrages nagash.... soul thieves!

I really don’t like Game Workshop’s writing with Nagash and the Skaven. It’s very lazy. Always the same, Nagash created some giant pyramid and somehow the Skaven come completely undetected and mess with the plan.

Sometimes they are detected but there is an army full of Nurgle's demons outside, but is funny, the same story repeats with each side trying to improve their plans but ending the same way, they could try something new but Nagash loves his pyramid and the Skaven love exploding things
