The Works - Tony Wilson interviews Ian Brown pt2. The interview itself is already on KZbin, but I figured it was still worth uploading the whole programme for which it was filmed. Enjoy.

A superb song, and no mistake.Ones initial reaction at the mention of trumpets is mirth and derision.Nobody was laughing after Time Is My Everything and Stellify.Outstanding.

The Stone Roses was my teens growing up. I am 45 now and still my go to listen brilliant memories . Ian Browns solo stuff is amazing aswell. If any kids are watching this go check out F.E.A.R. and Corpses in her Mouth. Amazing. .

I'm glad Ian has found success again. He is a true great and an extremely hard working person. No one will ever know if he gave all his Geffen cash to the homeless but if he did it certainly made him hungry musically. Like his idol Ali, Ian uses his position correctly.

fantastic documentary, and it had to be tony wilson doing it. i think he was a bigger driving force for manchester bands than the bands themselves at some point.

Always did my tits in when he was younger with all that Manc swagger, but to tell you the truth, he's actually a decent bloke, comes across as quite humble and perceptive.
