Hmm..dare I admit this?? I was informed on a prior vid that I'm old.. I'm like, whatevs.. But it might be a semi accurate observation..as I love the music on this..but the "singing", not so much..until the very end. That totally rocked! By the way, my hubby and our son are huge Cheeseheads, so here's to a Packer win!

I had Soulfly on tape...badass debut album. Also had Sepultura's Morbid Visions/Beastial Devastation on tape- and CD. Awesome ass shit.. Gotta put a vote in for " orgasmatron" - satyricon's version didn't come close to Sepultura's.

Dude.. Very interesting that you say this because I used to compare those two every once in a while. Throw in the genuine article in between and contemplate them. I prefer Satyricon's version more often than not. What do you like more about Sepultura's??

@@sportosp-0158 You know, I have just always love sepultura's version forever it seems... it is probably a little bit of just favoring it, I remember blasting it in my first car going to school. I used to have a mix tape of covers- like Death Angel's " cold gin ", Skid Row's " come on and love me", ect. I will give it another listen. One album of remakes I have been jamming was Slayer's " undisputed attitude". It is hated by a lot of their fans, but I have grown to really like it. As for Orgasmatron- it is probably because of that heavy crunching riff..

@@jayhelm9632 As Far as covers of Orgasmatron, I guess I broke it down in my head thusly: Satyricon specializes in the droning repetitive type sound. Even a bit minimalist, and I thought that is what the song needed for the right edge. Sepultura's thrashier touch is unique but I found that better suited to their Symptom of the Universe Cover. But, dude isn't that cool how two bands can take one song, hearing the same thing, then add their personal touch and different style and present it differently. That is the best part for me. Also, yeah, I didn't mind that disc at all. Really hammered home Hanneman's influences Lombardo's edgy style. and reminds me that Hanneman WAS Slayer.
