I finally got around to doing a Soulfly drum cover of Gladiator. I remember hearing this album back when it came out (admittedly Enslaved was my first Soulfly experience), and Ive loved what this band has accomplished ever since. The drummer at the time of this album was David Kinkade (formerly of Borknagar), who was an absolute beast on these tracks.

I appreciate all your comments i promise. Im grateful that you engage like this. Im glad you dig the setup as well. Ive been running the same kind of rig since i started playing drums. As far as the band, ive been in band from Jacksonville a long time ago. Then we rebranded when we got a new singer. After she got pregnant she didn't jam with us much anymore, and shortly after that i enlisted in the army. So needless to say it forced a hiatus. When i got out the military me and the guys jam here and there but when covid hit things got strained again. And now lately everyone has been so busy. However we are working on remastering some of our songs and hopefully we can get that project published in the future. Off the top of my head ive opened up for bands like Motograter and Turisas.

@@DrumlionMusic oh cool. Well I'm actually in an emo band called cut the act from southern new Jersey. Only album I'm on is the don't tell your boyfriend 10 year anniversary though. We re-recorded it with me on drums. Emo style band but maybe you'd dig it if you're into that too. We're on spotify. My favorite off the album is called dumpsterfire. We play it live sometimes and it's always fun

@@DrumlionMusic thanks! Yeah we've had lots of member changes in the past but we've been solid for a few years now with the same members. I changed some of the drum parts of old songs and kinda wanna re-record them but we'll see. Our next thing we wanna do us record our single wondering and do a music video so hopefully that will actually happen
