just finding your video now, had to sub. love this breakdown. Can we talk about how absolutely juicy the single bass groove is at 25 seconds in? Also with regards to the bass in this...I actually think thats just Tosin on his 8 string guitar lol. He's worth checking out because he is equally as cracked on guitar respectively.

I read in comments somewhere, Darkside has been a Xylophonist before. Might explain the heavy sticks and the advanced awesomeness.

Another great video, thank you! One thing I really love about Tomas Haake is that he will overlay 4/4 over the other odd time signatures to keep his groove somewhat accessible while being completely alien at the same time (e.g. in Bleed). Just a true drum monster.

I heard through the grapevine that he's the new Archspire drummer. This video and your insightful breakdown makes me believe it. 🤘

I know nothing About the musicality of a drummer, but I love those parts where he has the little pauses or breaks. No idea what they’re called but it’s very cool. Great video!!!

This ia not to be rude but rather to bring it to your attention: you're apologizong for getting lost in the groove just enjoying the music and you're also apologizing for pausing too much. Why apologize so such? Be more unapologetic :)
