I’ve played this song with a trio (drums, bass, sax) We did many songs. It was a great experience because we had to learn to fill the space without stepping all over each other. You could take out the drums and bass and this pianist would be just fine 😂 He def knows how to use the space

I've heard all the versions and covers, this my favorite jam , very very nice jam, good man ,excellent phrasing. I'm in New york live around corner from Ellington, worked with miles , buddy rich, sly stone, grew up on soul and rb and jazz, your jam is on the money. My favorite vocal version swing out sister Corrine brewery. Love , peace, happiness.....Keep on keepin on.
