Little girls get bladder infections and it is very common especially if they lay down in the bath tub. The urethra is very short on girls and bacteria can back flush back into the bladder and causes infections. And if they wipe wrong it will also cause problems. I bet that is it. Even the menstrual period starts young then they will have cramps, but she should have seen the blood in her panties. Period blood will be heavier than a little blood that might come from infection. My granddaughter just started at age 11 and she has had some very bad cramps, I gave her a hot water bottle for her tummy and some midol for pain.

As a survivor of that, she's very blessed. I also started mine at age 9. The cramps were terrible! Burning my tummy on a heating pad was better then the cramps. Mydol didn't work. Finally 800 mlg Ibuprofen did the trick. I had the cramp to know it was coming, the Ibuprofen would take it away for 6 hours. Usually just one more pill, then I was fine. But it took yrs for the Drs to find that cure! I'm happy she has a loving Dad & thank the school for helping him. He was also dealing w/grief & depression. The steady income helped him be the father he needed to be.🐱🐱

There are so many things that mothers teach their little girls about their bodies...especially about hygiene, periods and such, but sadly, she didn't have hers anymore. The dad did the best he could. He naturally was depressed and stressed about losing his wife and 2 other children. I lost both of my parents when I was barely 14. Thankfully, my mother had taught me those important things before she passed. Fathers are better at talking to their sons about those things. Thankfully, everything worked out for this father and daughter.
