I love that show, Roc, all the actors were superb. I laughed so much watching that show, yet it was also very emotionally moving, so real in many ways in their portrayal of black American life. I still watch the reruns when ever I can. It was/is one of the best tv shows ever. I will check out anything with Charles S. Dutton in it and, also Rocky Carroll, and the other actors too. They are all very talented actors.

I met him when I worked (very briefly) on the television show Twin Peaks in 1992. Nice guy with a "I don't need !@@#$$% bodyguards" vibe.

Charles Dutton is one of those hardcore actors that made you want to watch and listen to him. He was one the most serious dramatic actors of our lifetime. There are very few male actors you can say that about. I personally put him in the category of Morgan Freeman, Denzel Washington, Samuel L. Jackson, etc... Charles not only made you watch n listen, but he made you feel the character he was playing. I stayed glued watching every ROC episodes. He's one of THE best out there. That's what I'll always remember him about him, his deep commitment to his acting skills, not his prison time. He's the epitome of success. If he can do it, then there's no excuse.
