OMG...anyone that makes this will not be disappointed. It is the moistest pound cake I ever had. I cut up some frsh strawberries on the side and made some fresh whipped cream and it was great. Thank you soulfulT for sharing this.

I have made this cake 5 times and its the best i ever had. It doesn't last a full day in my house. U say u dont use frosting but i wanted to, even tho u absolutely right, you don't need it. That being said, i have yet to try frosting on it. Before it even cools enough for frosting at best it's at least half gone. At that point i figure the hell with it. Thank you, love u videos. Im a great cook myself but i like learn different twists on how to make things to keep the meals exciting.

Good tips. I never break the eggs over the bowl . I do it before and have in a bowl. I made the mistake of having part of a shell drop into the mix. That stopped me forever from doing it over the bowl.

Hey SoulfulT my mom taught me to use two different bowls when cracking egg use a small one to check to see if any eggs are bad then all it to the larger bowl and continue if one is bad you will not have ruined all the eggs and it aids with making sure no eggs shells are in with the rest.

Cream cheese pound cake, a very good cake. It doesn't matter what type of cake-pan. I took it for granted (I grew up on My Fathers family recipe) until I started tasting other people's pound cakes, most were lousy, very few very good. People have bought so many from Me and My Family, always raving about My Father and Grandmother's Cream Cheese Pound Cake's. My Father and Grandmother made it the best, I am soooo glad I learned their recipe from around age 11 about 40 years now. I have baked many flavors for every food gathering I have. I will bake 3-4 different types of Cream Cheese Pound Cakes

Ms T, I do not know how it is possible but you cook like me, and I cook like my grandmother, God rest her soul. Honey, you tickled me when you said: "okay, I'm not going to say I go cheap,... okay yeah I go cheap"... LMBO. Chile grandma called it being frugal...lol. But I call it being able to put love into a recipe. There is an art to taking lesser quality ingredients and making them taste like a million dollar dish, and baby you are like me - You've got the touch.
