Today is my second time trying this recipe. First time in June it came out wonderful and it is in the oven now and I hope it comes out just as good. First of all this was the FIRST TIME I had ever tried to cook or bake anything. The reason I wanted to try it is because it was also my late mother's recipe and she used to make it for my birthday. She has been gone for 16 years and this year I wanted to taste this cake again. Found this video on you tube and what a GREAT help it was to me making it the first time and today! YOU are wonderful and I just followed you all through the video. Very easy to follow and I love your humor. Thank you so much for posting this and for helping a NON baker and cook to make this delicious pound cake!!!

Hi I used to know how to make this cream cheese pound cake back in the late '80s my big sister showed me how to make it and my kids love it all the smell of this cake is wow and years went by of me not making the cake so I forgot how to make it and I always wanted to know how do you make the cream cheese pound cake I want to make for my grandkids but my sister that showed me she has passed on so I'm looking at the KZbin and I see the lady baking a cream cheese pound cake so I'm going to get all the ingredients and I'm going to bake the cream cheese pound cake it's in my life again and it never will leave okay thank you Miss miss cooking lady for bringing the cream cheese pound cake back into my life 😂💖

Along with many others, this was in my recommendations...didn't know Mrs H had another channel. A year or so ago, I came across your old video on farina bread (which I never heard of), and have been making it ever since. Growing up with my grandma, we didn't have a stand mixer, she used her hands or her hand mixer if she remembered. I poured the ingredients while she mixed. This was her way of showing me how to patiently blend everything. Thanks for the recipe.

When measuring Dry ingredients you use CUPS. When measuring LIQUIDS you use a liquid measuring cup.

I never seen you do nothing other than canning or outside. I enjoyed watching you make this cake. I use to buy baker's joy, but I make my own cake release. 1 cup of oil, 1 cup of Crisco, and 1 cup of flour. Mix very well. There you go. Thank you for sharing.
