I would recommend getting a song WAY above your skill level and throwing yourself at it (no energy mode, if you so choose) until you can keep pace with the blocks. Suddenly, all the other songs you were struggling with are almost too slow.

i know im super late to this comment section but in terms of testing of stamina, i played one hope on expert nonstop 20 times and i still felt fine afterwards, not out of breath or anything. bearing in mind my legs and arms were screaming at me by the end. still never managed to FC it but i got close. real fuckin close. only missed 1 note on my best run
