I’ve been there where you’re in so much pain (emotional and physical) that it feels like the best choice. People say it’s selfish but I don’t agree. It’s selfish for them to want you to stay when they don’t understand the pain you’re in. I will say though, that I hope you will reconsider. Will it get better in a day, a week, a year? No one knows the time frame, but it will get better. Ups and downs are a part of life and while the length of each is indeterminable the fact that the wheel of fate will change is inevitable. My hope is that you will find comforts in life where you can that will get you from one moment of sustainability to the next until you find yourself in a state where you’re feeling that life isn’t so unbearable. I say all of this still feeling that I really don’t see a point to life but I do know life in general was created for a reason. I do have moments of joy and wonderment that allow me sustainability. I live for those moments and I hope you will, too.

I have children but partner/friend wise I've had noone that ever stood around for long and it's been very trying for me to reconcile with this reality. Picked #4. I can say I've been thru things that did make me prepared for what came next in my life. Wasn't always easy. I gave 100 % to my career and have since retired to be a family care giver and enjoy my grand child. I have always related to music, and used special songs at times to express my deepest feelings to others, which for me, felt very meaningful. And I have taken the lead at times, when i felt it necessary. A bit of a different perspective, but fits me.

Melissa G...if thats the case I would cry until I am called home. I am an INFJ and I feel soo disconnected from everyone. Its bad enough I was raised by 2 (not 1, but 2) NARCISSIST parents and my mother is bipolar and 1 click shy of being a sociopath...I never had a connection with anyone and now I am feeling it. ( will be 40 next year and never dated)

I think biggest lesson for this pile is being unconditional in love, love without expecting it in return..till the time this is not learn, troublesome relations will happen to teach. Mostly people of these pile fall in love very deeply and a love that has loyalty to level of devotion, but problem arise when they expect the same kind of response. If I am giving this, you should appreciate, you should reciprocate same or when not same given back dejection is issue. And due to these feelings we make rules and boundaries for our heart and try to jail the very best gift given to us 'the power to love deeply and unconditionally'.Lesson for us to understand is everyone has different style, depth and way of responding to love and we need not take it to heart and start blaming ourself or limit our heart's potential of giving, but just channelize it in different direction.
