Yes, me too... I've experienced abandonment since before birth... I'm finally coming into my own (I'm 53) learning to detach with love. Embracing who I am and how I am. I have always held tight to who I am, talking never understand why I was so different from everyone, just knew I didn't want to be like them. I've said; I love being "over sensitive" because at least I can feel. The longest 3 days of my life I was granted the "gift" of being devoid of all emotion. I never want to go thru that again.
