In all due respect, you are not the mask. You're a generic character who has escaped death and needs to survive and build a tribe. Your character is basically a low level playable "npc" of sorts that you initially use until you unlock the ability called "control." With control, now you can switch at will with your thralls who'll have better stats than the ones you began with. The game's developer is considering changing the starter character. By the way, thank you for the video and the time you took to make it.

The tribeman you are showcase is very good, try to level him up yourself (safely no boss no hard mobs), you have a chance to get rid of the negative traits by doing so. A 3+2 is basically a god roll for weapon XP. Normally he also got unique weapon traits corresponding to the skill limit.

….. 😂 reading this after he died recording that video… tried taking a ruin with lvl 20 bush dogs and the pack got him stuck and he flatlined 😭

@@Kodeations bush dogs are very dangerous always prepare for the fight. I circle around them and try to manage my stamina. You ll find a better one dont worry, don't hesitate to go in low level zone, as when you manually level them they can get rid of negative trait. Oh and pick the xp nodes for gathering in ,mask to level up safely near your base.

Can you level up the starter one above 50/50 ? Or is it stuck with that forever ?

They are capped at 50/50, Think of them like a trusty baseline that you'll always have, but your tribesmen that you tame, are like 'expendable' buffs (you can revive them if you've gotten past a certain point but to begin with if they die they are gone, but they are super powerful compared to your base guy)

As @Fuzz223 mentions, your base character can not go above 50/50, and its to force you to use the tribesman NPCs as that is the core gameplay loop. You will get some, use them for specific task, and then if they die without their data being uploaded (feature later in the game) than they will die forever :( but then you hunt another one to replace them, etc.

I am a graphic designer as my day job, so I use Adobe Photoshop to make my thumbnails. The Image itself is AI generated, and then doctored up and tailored to my liking using Adobe design programs

lol that's all the point of the game. It's hard and frustrating early game, but later you can revive your secondary tribemen and xp is no more an issue. Seriously keep going its a na amazing game Im addicted lol.

Clearly you do not know the notion of copy, duplicate, inspired, spinoff and/or any other terminology that you are trying to bring as a "half arsed" conversation. A gaming genre is a genre, collecting and having common traits and/or structures as well as "same but different" aspects built in to bring to life said genre. Survival genre will always contain common aspects such as building, combat, talent trees, professions, skills etc. What's your next move? Comment on every survival game/video/content creator's work that its whatever your unsolicited opinion might be? Or is Ark Survival your best achievement in life and everyone should know about it?

You want ALL the mask nodes related to crafting, craft is primordial. THis is how you level your tribemens safely and quick. Cause gathering gives also xp, and later on you want 90+ skills limit tribesmen. And later you will find more 120+ skill limit tribemen. ANd what you want is roughly tribemen for combat with 120 weapon skill, and crafters with at least 90 for important things like armorsmith.
