I think that Merlin keeps hearing Koda's name, and is looking for him. I think that's why he's all of a sudden an outdoor cat, he's looking for him. Be patient, as he and Bandit grow a bond, things will be alright I LOVE those Kodiac Waffles. The think Blueberry Waffles are great. I like to crumble them up and put them in Vanilla Yogurt. Ya, that's so good.

Poor Merlin. Kitties! My friends’ cat died overnight of a stroke and I noticed days later that the other cat was a bit low in energy and at bed time he just laid on the bed looking into space and I felt like he was thinking about his friend. Poor kitties.

My cats are indoor cats and on the rare occasion the go out, they make the exact same noise as i bring them back in (and then fight for the next 2 days amongst themselves)

You should put a temporary fence around the tree until it is well established or a pet guard tonic. Pet urine can kill new plantings.

Glad you had the opportunity to get your shot :) It's awesome how your pets get along outdoors. Our dogs were always on good terms with our cats, as long as they were indoors together. Outdoors we had to keep the doggos in check every once in a while so they don't forgot the cats are the good guys from indoors and not some wild stray to chase ;D

One more thing - I planted two trees for my two dogs I lost. My new boy, Baily has taken up a alternate job, tree trimming. I knew if I didn't build a fence/barrier around these two trees he as going to take them out. Remember Bandit is just a adorable puppy and they do puppy things. Build a fence/barrier around the tree you planted for Koda. Take it easy with Bandit.
