It's brilliant! I was a bit scared before the release because I knew his vocals would be flawless, but I was insecure about the new backing track, but luckily he got the guys from "Roommate Project" again, so the instrumentals are as great and inspired as with his "See You On Wednesday" performance... they added a few more instrumental tracks, but basically they kept the arrangement and I'm really happy about that!

@@Hundhammer yup ... totally agree 👍👍 many have asked if Cakra could sing TW on some stages, wishing it can be as good as in the cover ... and honestly I doubted it ... the cover is a full package with Roommate Project who did the music arrangement ... without RP being involved, the result would be completely different than "See You On Wednesday". It's great to have Cakra brought RP too for his single, and even better the single was recorded by a pro who has done many The Beatles remastered ... the quality of this single is obviously not just "so-so" recording 🙏

@@DiniKusuma yep, this is top tier music production, hope they'll do more collabs, because, as great as CK's vocals always are, some of the karaoke style backing tracks he used were not satisfying for me, I'm a bit nerdy when it comes to instrumentals... Don't get me wrong, I completely understand that CK as a solo artist with limited financial resources was not able to always have great sound production, and also his covers with cheap backing tracks helped him gain popularity, but he deserves better... so I'm really happy about this recording and am hoping for more like this, Raymond and Aldi are just killing it and I enjoy most of their collabs on "See You On Wednesday" thoroughly... one of my favorites is them with Novia Bachmid on Faouzia's "This Mountain", but I must say you really have a lot of great vocalists in Indonesia, nearly every guest they're having is killing it... you guys obviously love singing and music...

@@Hundhammer well I think, the two channels between Roommate Project and Cakra have different purposes Roommate Project isn't a private channel as they started the channel for their music project, as well as to have collaboration with singers and musicians - obviously they have to deliver the best performance in their videos as for Cakra's channel ... as far as I know, he didn't do covers to gain popularity or looking for subs - he started doing covers in his bedroom bc of the pandemic 😁🙏 He had nothing to do during lockdown, so he sang some covers It was started when RP asked Cakra to jamm in RP's channel and Cakra agreed as he really just wanted to have fun bc of covid. Fortunetely the video went viral and ppl started to recognise Cakra's voice and visited Cakra's channel - without any 'advance' professional equipment, Cakra did his covers "just the way it is" - even I notice some covers aren't really well done, Cakra just did one take and that's it >>> maybe this can answer why Cakra's covers seem to look 'unprepared' 😁🙏

@@DiniKusuma yes, that's what I was basically trying to say... I love live music, or at least music recorded especially for a track, so I also loved Cakra's recordings where he brings some friend(s) for the instrumentals, and now as the restrictions imposed with the pandemic are gone I do hope CK will have more opportunities to sing with a real band or soloist... E.g. I know many fans love his orchestral version of "Iris", and his vocals there are impressive, but I prefer the one he did live with his friend on acoustic, it's another vibe and I love it! - What's funny, I just went to listen to that one again and see if I can find out the name of the guy who plays the guitar because he really does a nice job, but he's not credited in the description - but your comment from 11 months ago appears second: "Sudah berkali² dengerin versi ini ... ga pernah bosen 😘👍 pgn bgt denger Cakra cover lagu² thn 90an lagi 😭 versi akustik begini tipikal bgt era 90an ... miss that moment ❤❤❤" - I was curios to see what you had to say and had it auto translated, I fully agree! Btw. your English is excellent, congratulations! (I'm Bavarian so English isn't my first language either...)

Just for the record, this is my favorite by him so far. I am not quite as heavily into him as you are, but he definitely has a few gems, this being one of them 🙂 Take care, Adrianna! Love from Norway ♥♥♥♥♥
