Bought one when they came out. First time in thirty years of hunting I have found a production Mosritealike left handed. I only have one complaint: the leftconly comes in burst. I would buy thr other colours too! The white one is screaming out to be gived a big guard and the Johnny Ramone pickups. Would queue all night to buy that one!

Great video. Bought a second hand HB Modern sunburst for 170 euros. There is no doubt it is a very good guitar for that price, it feels "more expensive" in terms of sound and global quality.

The band Ventures and The Ramones played this guitar. It was also Kurt Colbain (Nirvana) favorite guitar and now you also play it :) Good choice and a great deal ! I will be buying one too soon.

It really is a great guitar. Basswood is a very good choiche for these gutiars imho. It is a underrated "tone wood" (whatever that means, but the original Mosrite Mk IV. Ventures (where this guitar is clearly based on) also had a Basswood body. I really like they did the guitar like the originals with a 25.5" scale. Neck on this guitar is killer. the "volute" and angled headstock help the overall string tension. Fretboard is Jatoba. (good alternative for indian rosewood, a bit harder in density) The wrap arround bridge is a big part of this guitar's huge tone. The Artec P-90's are very good. just lower the neck pu a bit and raise the bridge pu to get the right balance. Pots on mine are Alpha full size 250 K pots. This guitar will not give you any headaches. If you want it to sound a bit more huge (not that it needs it) try a set of 0.11 - 0.48 strings, tightens things up just a tad more...

Hey buddy. Thanks for the comment. Tbh it's not really that light. If I recall the original ones were slightly lighter. This one is not super heavy but it's a fair chunk of wood so I would say medium. Haven't weighed it but can do if you want! Let me know! Cheers
