I watched you Play this at the East Troy Farmers Market and It sounded so perfect . I don't know how else to say it . Your performance was Intoxicating!Truly one of the best Musicians of all time. @ Atrina P: The strings are supposed to sound like that. In this style of playing the strings are hit to sound percussive. As for your comment regarding the guitar, these guitars are hand built and cost a fortune. Sorry, but you clearly do not know what you are talking about.

Actually, Atrina is right. The fret buzz is not "supposed" to be there. If you're paying a "fortune" for a guitar that buzzes, then you've been ripped off. Sorry, but you clearly do not know what you are talking about.

R Watson I have played guitars for over 40 years. I currently have 14 of them and I set them all up myself. I know all about fret buzz. But you obviously do not understand this style of playing. Yes fret buzz is not good on normal playing, but in the style whereby the strings are hit to provide a percussive sound, that is NOT fret buzz. A string hit rather than played is going to 'bounce' and create that sound on ANY guitar. With respect, I suggest it is you who does not know what you are talking about , and maybe you should educate yourself by checking out people who play that syle (Michael Hedges etc).

ipolson Well my goodness, Mr Forty Buzzy Geetars, I bow to your superior knowledge. Seems everyone on the internet is a superstar/expert/war hero. Despite your contention to the contrary, and percussive style notwithstanding, buzzing strings are like static on the radio. It's noise not music.

R Watson What an odd comment. I am not claiming to be a 'superstar ' or 'expert' . Any luthier will tell you how to check for fret buzz. By fretting each note all the way up the neck, playing normally. If you play a Michael Hedges style where strings are slapped, they sound percussive and intentionally so. Watch Macyn playing 'Ragamuffin' and you will see a better example of it. It is not rocket science. It is simple physics. That is not fret buzz and you can confirm this by seeing other videos where she is playing the same guitar 'normally'. Tell you what about 'people on the internet' , there are quite a few who revert to sarcasm when they are wrong about something, believing it to be 'witty' . Stick to your day job
