One of the most overlooked methods, yet so useful. Thanks for reminding me about it! I'll be playing around with the renoise convolver. Haven't tried that one yet. As usual, great content, and thank you for sharing!

Misleading color scheme, I didn't realize it's about Renoise. ;) Anyway, convolution is surprisingly powerful for creative uses. I ran the raw signal from a Roland V-drums pad directly to the audio interface and a convolver, with a dubstep snare sample as the "impulse response", and it sounds... like a snare drum kzbin.info/www/bejne/Y4rKY4SKhMxpgKs

Ooh fresh out of the oven?!? Sweet. Love watching your content m8 even the stuff that I`ll likely never implement into my work it`s just interesting to see what you squeeze out of this gem of a DAW. If anything just the regularity you upload content with is admirable and most definitely appreciated. I think I can count the people who put out renoise tutorials on a regular basis on the fingers of my right hand (or the toes of my left foot). Respect! keep up the good deed!

Thanks! Appreciate the kind words 🙏 Yeah, the more renoise content out there, the better! Definitely the best, most slept on DAW 🤘👽🔥

@@MrZensphere I take out bitwig for a spin every now and then very rarely ableton but I just can`t be bothered to do all that clickity click business :D though the main reason I stick with Renoise is that at least in my mind it has a certain charm to it that just "clicked" (how`s that for irony) with me the first moment I opened that DAW despite the fact that it was couple of days before I actually get how to load samples and how to write them on the pattern editor :D no YT tutorials back than! And for some reason my brain totally bailed on me back than cz the idea to RTFM didn`t even occur to me XD ahh crap excuse my ramblings. Well I guess at least this goes to show that I`ve really established some kind of emotional attachment to this DAW - I don`t think I`ve ever reminisced with a smile on my face about a piece of software lol... The only thing that makes me scream like Tommy Wiseau on account of my soul being torn apart is the glacial pace new versions get released. Yeah I know that this has been discussed ad nauseam and I acknowledge that the dev team is small and basically make no profit from their product (won`t be surprised if they work at a loss) I`m not complaining I`m just sharing the frustration - I think there is soooo much untapped potential in Renoise. If I`m not mistaken you also have posted a few ideas/suggestions what features would be a nice addition within future releases. God damn not again smh (doh!) Sorry for the TLDR and again - thanks for all your contribution to our modest community.

@@isellcrack3537 yeah it's definitely a sweet piece of software with a real learning curve if you're coming from a piano roll... But I totally agree, nothing is more fun (that I've found) and the limitations often inspire creative solutions that lead to unique results. Plus, I always feel like renoise (especially when working sample-based) is clean and crisp and punchy without much effort to make it so. Cheers 🍻

@@MrZensphere yeah yeah that`s exactly what I meant - it`s a thousand times faster for writing down your music unlike all the "mainstream" DAWs where you have to click +drag and what not to write every single note...when you are used to renoise it feels like a chore srsly :D The bird eye view and the the fact that instruments are not "tied" to their own separate track only add up to and enhance the writing process 😎

@@MrZensphere aaah and no - it took me a while to get around it cz it was pbbly the second time I ever opened a DAW not cz I was used to piano rolls.
