Can you use the SL2 to expand the inputs on the 888? Since the 888 is supposed to be able to have 16 channels, can you route the SL2 inputs to channels 9-16 and still use the analogue inputs for something else?

Can the input routing be user defined when using the SL-2 with an 833? For example, if I want the receivers in the SL-2 to be routed to channels 3-6 on the 833, leaving channels 1 & 2 free for boom microphones using xlr cables.

Yes, any channel can receive any input.
