00:22 Introduction to the topic of sound and its components 03:15 Sound is a crucial topic with numericals and practical applications. 07:47 Sound is explained through particle vibration 10:13 Understanding the concept of waves and sound propagation 15:17 Mechanical waves require a medium for propagation. 17:57 Sound requires a medium to travel 22:24 Transverse waves involve particles moving perpendicular to the motion of the wave. 24:35 Sound is a type of energy creating sensation. 28:48 Compression region has higher pressure and density 30:53 Analysis of pressure and density relation in wave propagation 35:25 Sound is energy that creates sensation in the ears and can travel as a mechanical wave. 37:33 Characteristic of sound and amplitude explained. 42:15 Loudness is the measure of response of the ear to sound 44:36 Loudness is not the same as intensity. 49:47 Frequency is the number of vibrations per second 52:18 Frequency and time periods are key concepts in wave analysis. 57:03 Understanding the concept of shrillness and pitch in sound. 59:27 Frequency, amplitude, wavelength, and pitch are key factors in determining the characteristics of sound waves. 1:04:18 Understanding the concept of wave frequency and characteristics. 1:06:31 Frequency, period, amplitude, and velocity in sound science 1:11:36 Difference between lightning and thunder 1:13:38 Sound reflects and follows laws similar to light reflection 1:18:18 Understanding sound resonance and how the brain processes different sounds 1:20:37 Understanding the concept of sound reflection and echo 1:25:45 Multiple reflections of sound in practical applications 1:27:59 Understanding the Principle of Reflection of Sound 1:32:15 The importance of acoustic design in theaters 1:34:17 Dogs can hear ultrasonic sounds beyond human range. 1:38:51 Sound needs a medium to propagate 1:40:54 Sound reflection, speed, and characteristics explained Crafted by Merlin AI.00:22 Introduction to the topic of sound and its components 03:15 Sound is a crucial topic with numericals and practical applications. 1:38:51 Sound needs a medium to propagate 1:40:54 Sound reflection, speed, and characteristics explained

Sir if particles don't move with wave then how is rare fraction and compression being created? Please reply someone
@PrekshaMohindra
@PrekshaMohindra Жыл бұрын
Particles dont move with the wave but move forward and backward which is basically vibrating...so the particles vibrate and when they move forward (while vibrating) compression is created and then they come back to mean position so rarefaction is created; only the disturbance moves forward (In the new ncert book page 128 propagation of sound)
