We need a trivium edition of this!!!
@Return2TheLiving3 ай бұрын
Trivium now has a plugin with AmpKnob, if that’s a sound you want it can be very easily had with 0 effort and not much money. Matt uses his signature Fishman Fluence pickups and Corey uses his signature Seymour Duncan pickups. Matt uses a Gibson scale length guitar with .10-52s and Corey I’m not sure off hand.
@DatMetalBoi753 ай бұрын
@@Return2TheLivingHe uses a Jackson King v with a 25.5 scale length
@terogates12 ай бұрын
@@Return2TheLiving oh yeah that’s true I’m debating getting those actually I forgot about that it was like back in March right? I have Matt’s 7 string already but the old model wothout the fishmans just the regular emgs ( love that thing btw so much fun to play their songs on it) I heard everyone say it’s heavy so when I got it I was like… this weighs less than the schecter syn custom lmao that and I am like 6’1 so I’m a big guy with big hands too that’s could be why it feels light for me( Matt’s taller than me I think at 6’3)

I would like to see fewer Katanas show up in cheap gear guides. But I also understand that Katanas are such good value that they're impossible to ignore when a budget is tight. The playing was awesome, especially the synced harmonies. It would be nice to bump the budget a bit to 1200 or 1500 so you had more guitars and amps to choose from. The Katana is a superb value and deserves every bit of its popularity, but we need a way to spread the love and showcase some other gear. Digital John could get a speaker if he had a few hundred more :}

A very good option for the guitar would be a Schecter SVSS. I have one in Blue Reign. I like to think of it as a baby syn custom model 😅. It has a double locking floyd rose, and optional systaniac which mine has, 24 frets, and overall very similar specs and features to a syn custom model.
