These Anderton's "How to Sound Like..." videos are as informative as they are fun to watch. You get stellar musicians telling you how to sound like your favorite players. This series has introduced me to Rabea Massaad, Rob Chapman, The Captain, and now these two baddasses. Not sure why, but IMO, the UK has produced more world class musicians per capita than any place on earth. As a yank, I wanted to say thanks, and please keep making more.

Fun Fact: for the recording of "Killing In The Name" Tom Morello used an Ibanez DFL Flanger pedal for that low sweep effect. It was also used on Wake Up, Fistful of Steel, Township Rebellion, And Freedom! Flangers imo sound more natural than phasers but you made that phaser sound amazing!!!

Absolutely love andertons and Cici and Dave and everyone for that matter, I’ve been watching these videos start to finish since I started playin guitar when I was 11 and I got my first sgj. And I remmeber the video too! It was the captn! And Chappers! Doing the 2013 Gibson 120th anniversary sgj and lpj demo and review. It made me fall in love with the guitar and the idea of watching all these different guitar reviews and demos of all sorts of different types of guitars. I even paused to try and learn some of the licks these guys rip during the play throughs lol. Nothin but love for this company/guitar store/ team/ guys/ girls/ freakin everything they’ve done for people interested in music and guitar all across the world tuning in to watch and learn more. Jeez I sound old. But the one thing I always think and gotta say is Dave brother. That hair is not a look my man. You could look so much fresher if you got rid of the locks lol. No judging but definitely judging and I’m sorry I just can’t contain it.

The scratching wasn't bad, Dave. You'd get really good at it really quickly, I reckon. It's a bit weird lifting instead of pressing to get the noise (IMO), but, that's how flares work in scratch DJing. You cut the sound to separate the 'syllables'. Look up triple-click flares and chirps. Very inspiring video. Thanks guys! "Come wit' it now!"

This might be one of the best sounds likes ever! I somehow knew Dave would pick the cheapest guitar 🤣 (nothing wrong with Pacificas anyway!) I've said it before but since you listened to all the comments about showing more in the shop it's really added another dimension. Could you try one of these where you get the ACTUAL band to come in and try with the budget gear? That would be great to see/hear 😁
