The phrasing is really out of this world. The way you build up suspense, then bring it back sounds so natural and comfortable. Such a rewarding listen. Thanks for sharing your skill with us!

Nice performance on a really wonderful instrument Thanks for a good demonstration by the organist and the organ both excellent.

Nice to see you still out there making music Tim, haven't heard from you nor having seen you since the last convention I attended in 2018. That GW4 sounds choice and one of my favorite Allen Organs not to say any of the TO series sound bad because they don't. I love the TO5, STR4, and the Lynn Larsen model I forget the model number (maybe LL324?). I've not been active in ATOS in many years now especially since my move to Tennessee two years ago. I still have my 1928 Wurlitzer 240SP project organ (Opus-1932) which I brought with me but due to not having a workshop, not been able to finish rebuilding it so it's still in storage ironically not far from the Cumberland Caverns in McMinnville where the organ was to be installed before Roy's death in 2018. Once I have the console back together, I'll be using the Hauptwerk sample set from the 1927 Wurlitzer 260SP (Opus-1680) currently installed in the Music Hall Ballroom in Cincinnati. I haven't fallen out of love with the theatre organ, just haven't been involved with ATOS activities and no conventions since Covid-19 outbreak. I believe my days hanging out with large groups of people are over. I assume you still have your Rodgers 360 back home? Yeah, I remember it and knew you had placed it for sale at one point. Didn't know if it sold and maybe you replaced it with an Allen theatre organ or you just use the Wurlitzer organ at RTOS. I see a video with Alex Jones playing it and will watch that before bed. Nighty night - Jim B.

@@kingjames8283 Hi Jim, good to hear from you. My 360 bit the dust a couple years ago. It’s almost impossible to get parts now for the older Rodgers so I had to replace it. My old 360 is now in the possession of a friend who has gutted it and is putting Hauptwerk in it. I’ve replaced the 360 with an Allen MDS Theatre III deluxe plus. It’s a huge console with 10 channels. I’ve also added the 4/50 Hauptwerk Paramount. It sounds like the Atlanta Fox. I kid you not. I hope you’re doing well.

@@Timtheorganman - So sorry to hear about the old 360, at least she had a few good years lol. Remember that I gutted that Rodgers 33E initially in 2010 installing jOrgan then later Hauptwerk. Well when I moved to Tennessee in 2022, I didn't have room in the Uhaul for both the Wurlitzer and the Rodgers, so I gutted the Rodgers once again and left the case behind, but all it's parts are here in storage. Many of the parts I'll use in the Wurlitzer, and the three manual stack I had made in England with the tan cattle bone keytops made in the Czech Republic will be going in the Wurlitzer. She's gonna be a beauty if I can ever find shop space and finish the build. The Wurly was originally wedding cake white with gold trim, I am staining it. I had thought about an Allen similar to yours but money was an issue at the time so I'll just play with the hand I was dealt. Nice hearing from ya again and have yourself a Merry Christmas.

I'd like to play audio from that for some pipe organistas in my parish. I'd be tempted to tell 'em it was the Wannamaker's Court Grand, just to see if they'd blink. BRAVO!

VERY nicely done!! I've spent hours in the Castro Theatre in San Fransisco listening to the mighty Wurlitzer. I love your arrangement, it is perfectly suited the theatre organ. Thanks for sharing!!

BTW, you have had 2.9 thousand views in five days. You should also have that many comments! You have only had 11! Thank you for bringing such beauty into a rather dark world right now!!

I’m not sure I’ve ever seen a theatre organ before. So many different ways to play! Not sure sure how you keep it all straight, fantastic job!
