Been suffering since 1996. It doesn't get easier, but the rest of your life does take centre stage after some time. The first few years are hardest because the old you is gone. But the new you can still be joyful despite the affliction. Wishing you your path forward as soon as you're ready for it.

I tried the zen pulses for tinnitus, but they only aggravate and increase the T.....I am now just trying natural sounds. I did notice that when I am out in nature, staying still, while hunting , my T is not noticeable.......had T for 23 years, gets worse every year, but jumps instantly when subjected to loud noise....

I sleep on my side, left side to right side all night. These hearing aids used for sound therapy are they small enough for me to sleep with. I am using earbuds but they are to bulky.

Only a handful of people choose to wear their hearing aids to sleep. Many patients opt for a sleep headband or sleep eye mask with speakers. These can be purchased on Amazon.

Hi Ben, Can you do a video on hyperacusis/diplacusis? I have tinnitus but the issues with sounds of water/the fridge/heat all have this distorted morse code beep with it and make my ears hurt and tinnitus spike. I'm struggling to find any accurate information on what's happening and all the audiologists I've seen are clueless.

Yes expect those videos coming out later this year.

Hey don't give up, there are some tips that HELPS ME, You need to try and evaluate it, every body is different 1. Put ice cubes on your ears, head and neck maintaining low temperature during 20min 2. Detect your tinnitus frequency and then use the Notch therapy Sounds for your tone 3. Put eardrops of olive oil for some days 4. One day covering the ear that has tinnitus 24h 5. Taurine supplement 6. NAC supplement 7. Clonazepam is good but is ototoxic, better L theanine or Passionflower 8. If you can module your tinnitus sound when moving your jaw, neck, shoulders, try neck contraction exercises, stretching neck and jaw, posture exercises daily 9. Check your blood pressure 10. Try mansalva maneuver for Eustachian tube relief God bless you
