The white noise of a fan heater can be a very relaxing and sleep inducing listening experience. I recorded this sound using my binaural microphone rig positioned in front of the mini heater. I compiled the audio and video using Final Cut Pro X. Fan heater white noise and other similar house sounds are great for masking unwanted external sounds, which makes them the perfect ally for study, sleep, stress relief and meditation.

Aaah this makes me feel nostalgic, it was winter, the snow was falling down as i watched it from my room.Meanwhile i was sitting on the floor watching cartoon network shows and was waiting for christmas. The noise, the heat, the tv with the shows on and the ambient blue light which came in from outside made everything peaceful. Oh how sometimes i just wanna be kid again.

Oh cartoon network days... :') I have something similar except our family had a fireplace that we lit. Although it wasn't in Christmas since Christmas in Australia is Summer and really hot haha! : I am currently sitting next to a real heater in a study room and searching for a similar sound on youtube for when I wanna study back in my room. I have to say.. THIS IS THE ONLY SIMILAR SOUND. I AM SERIOUS. I clicked on several, believe me guys. The main reason is it being a really close sound to what we hear in our mother's womb. That's why newborn babies find comfort in hairdryer sound.:) I find it amazing too. My baby sister would not go to sleep unless she heard the hairdryer when she was a newborn.

***** It's good isn't it? I used to put our fan on and face it to the wall when it was too cold, just to hear the sound! People like you and I just need a bit of sound. If you're anything like me, you have a lot of thoughts running through your head and the sound helps to keep them at bay a little.

My power was out for 2 days this week (a Hurricane), and I could barely sleep without the fan or heater running. I couldn't play videos either because I had no way of charging my phone or laptop outside of work. I think the only reason I slept was because my neighbor has a super loud generator. My mom hated it, but without that generator it would have been pure silence, leaving me with only my late night paranoid thoughts to listen to. -_-

I wasn't too sure about this when it started but after a couple of minutes I started to relax. Although this doesn't really help my tinnitus it did help me to calm and de-stress myself. So thank you for this.
