I remember the time when I was 5 years old and flew to my grandma's house in England because that's where she lived due to my grandpa's job. I arrived there, and the highlight of the stay was this little fan heater at 3:00 in the morning. I'll never forget it. Sitting in the armchair, 2 or 3 in the morning, that sound, the warmth on my legs, something unforgettable, especially a few hours before leaving home. Just having my feet by the fan heater was one of the last things I did before leaving grandma's house. I sat in the armchair and savored that beautiful moment, not knowing it would never happen again, and I would never return there. But now I have my grandma nearby; I live about 10 minutes away from her :) Like I said, the sound and the warmth are unforgettable.

It's 1am and I can't sleep, so here's my story 🙏 I read once that the bathroom should be the warmest room in the house. My grandparent's bathroom was the opposite, it was hard to keep there comfortable temperature, so they bought a fan heater. I feel in love with this sound and warmth, so I started to spend more time in the bathroom, doing things really slowly 😅 I got extra goosebumps when washing machine was working at the same time. These two sounds were always my favourite, I feel safe with them. One day when our home was full of people, I felt overwhelmed, so I took a book, a sandwich, and I sat on the floor with fan heater on. My mum was doing laundry that day, so it was extra calming and relaxing. Sandwich never tasted that great, book was amazing and I spent there best 15 minutes of my childhood (because they found out what I was doing...). Sometimes, when I was alone, I went to bathroom to enjoy fan heater. Just for a few minutes, I didnt want grown ups to pay high bills because of me. It was my little secret and biggest joy that time. As years went by, I graduated from high school and moved out to a big city. I dont need a fan heater here, since I live in a well-heated flat. I discovered the amazing world of white noise and asmr during lockdown. It helped me focus during writing my bachelor and later master thesis. It helps me sleep every night. It brings back memories of reckless days. I'm so glad that I found this video and that there are so many people who also love this sound ❤ I was afraid that I was the only one and for many years ashamed of that 😢

When I listened to this video the first time I felt sooo lucky. It reminds me of taking a bath in my childhood. It took me hours to get ready and my mom always asked me "What are you doing there the whole time? The heater is so expensive." What I was doing? Listening to the sound and enjoying the warmth ❤ Just by listening to that video now, I can really feel the warmth and it gets me goosebumps at the same time. I love it.

You are absolutely right, it has the same effect on us too .. This Sound reminds me so much to my childhood after I took a bath. My mum turned the heater on. I felt how the warm blowing air begun to warm my wet skin. And I love the sound it makes me feel comfortable and it is so extremely satisfying to listen to this Sound.A lot of my friends think that I am crazy, because I listen to it while I am studying for the exams. It's fascinating how little things like this can trigger vivid memories and emotions. When I was a small child and I was scared of sleeping alone my parents would let me sleep in their bed with them and turn on the heating fan. Now I'm an adult and I still find this sound comforting. It makes me feel warm and protected.
@chimaera24762 жыл бұрын
A comforting sound from my childhood. I loved huddling by the heater after a bath and my sisters would come to sit with me to enjoy the warmth and talk lol. It also reminds me of the warmth and comfort during winter in my parents' bedroom. 3 decades later and I'm listening to this video as I work on a hard lab report.

I like to sit in front of these fan heaters, early on Winter mornings, before work. In my bedroom, just wearing a towel, after my morning shower, so peaceful and relaxing to feel the warmth on my legs and feet, preparing for the day ahead. Always wanting, to not leave the house, not go outside into the cold air, just get back into my warm bed and go back to sleep.

I've realised that even the smallest noise at night can make you stop dreaming or wake up, cuz everything is quiet. But with the simple noise that is being repeated for hours, you totally exclude everything around you from your senses and simply focus on resting. Me and my sister I falling asleep on the heater or the hair dryer since we were 8, and now I am 21 and she is 14. This videos saved my health, because whatever the machine for heating, it dries the air and when overused for couple a days in a row, you will have a sore throat. Love this videos, without overreacting I can say that in some way, they changed my life ! SHARE THE NOISE !

Hey guys, I just wanted to stop by to send some positive energy to all of you! These past years been very tough to me. Ive been challenged mentally, emotionally and certainly spiritually. I feel like i’m finally finding myself and who I was once before when I had peace. I am thankful to come across a channel like this one that shows me that we are really all one in the same. We all have these daily struggles that we deal with that can keep us up late at night but just know that you are not alone. Knowing that I can come here and openly express myself and see others doing the same gives me hope that the world will indeed be a better place but it starts with us. We have to set an example for others and I know we can do it. Peace and Love to ALL OF YOU BEAUTIFUL PEOPLE.

Some times ago, I went to a house lost among the snowy mountains in the northern Italy. It was very cold and the only sources of warming were a fireplace and a little space heather. Because of the snow, we couldn't go out, so we standed in front of the fireplace, but not me, I lay down on the sofa with the space heater that warmed myself. The sound and the warm created an atmosphere that let me fell asleep in few minutes.

It's early morning, 6:25 am. The bed is warm, but outside of the bed is chilly. It's still a little dark before the sunshine. A distant sound interrupts the peace -someone in the house is drying their hair. Though you just woke up because of the sound, you find the sound oddly soothing, and soon you're lulled back to sleep by the monotonous hum of the hair dryer.
