I have this speaker, it is fucking insane. It would be amazing for the price and the bass and volume is amazing. I have JBL boombox 3 too. Except it recently broke. I would recommend this instead.

Songs I think would pair very well with the Boom 2 Plus are: Mr Brightside - The Killers Numb (Encore) - Linkin Park ft Jay-Z Drown - Bring Me The Horizon It's because they're all very ambient, vocal-heavy songs with a lot of bass! #roarwithboom In fact, that third song reminds me of when I went on vacation to Algarve, Portugal with my brother and cousins, and we had an interesting adventure in the sea. We basically decided to go jetskiing during cold and somewhat rainy weather, which probably wasn't the smartest idea! We didn't think anything of it until we were on our rented jetskis far from the shore and realised there were a LOT of choppy waves that made the jetskis rock from side to side, like we'd fall into the sea at any second. Something came over me and I decided to go full throttle all of a sudden, my cousin brother sitting behind me yelling at me to slow down. Before I realised, we suddenly hit a wave and went flying in the air. I landed in the sea so hard that my contact lenses flew out of my eyes and I even lost my shoes. We then had to swim about a hundred yards back to the jetski and I later caught a cold. But it was worth it because that adventure is now a priceless memory for me!

I have the regular boom 2, would it better to just get another boom 2 to make a stereo pair or just get the boom 2 plus? It’d be for the garage when I’m car detailing primarily.

Tough choice. If you're happy with the volume of the Boom 2 and haven't run into wanting it to play louder then you could get another boom 2. Together they will have more output than single one and you will have a stereo set. Now if you at times want more volume, or would like to take it places and blast it really loud then I would go for a Boom 2 Plus. It gets a lot louder and has deeper bass. You'll also have the benfit of having something smaller and lighter, and then another louder and larger one for when you really want to crank it up. When you pair them together you can also lower the volume of the boom 2 plus to have it more even, or place it further away from you so you have a bit more flexability that way. Personally I would probably get a Boom 2 Plus so you can have the benefits of both.

#roarwithboom Great songs to play on the Boom 2: Baker Street by Gerry Rafferty; Brown Sugar by the Rolling Stones; Run Through the Jungle by CCR; In the Air Tonight by Phil Collins. This is an adventure story that actually happened to me: When I was younger I went on a 5 day canoe trip with a few other people. Each of us had our own canoe which contained all of our camping gear, tent, and food. So it was very heavy, and the less we needed to portage (carry the canoe to get from one river or lake to another, the better. On the second day of the trip we paddled down a river that became wild rapids, leading to a waterfall. At that point, to avoid the rapids, we could have pulled our canoes out of the water and portaged to a point just past the waterfall. But that would have been a portage more than a mile long. So we decided to paddle the rapids, and pull our canoes out just at the edge of the waterfall. We did this, and as we got close to the edge of the waterfall the water became unbearably strong. So with our canoes still in the water and us in our canoes, we clung to the shoreline (where the water was less dangerous) and slowly grabbed onto trees and bushes to maneuver ourselves as close to the edge of the waterfall as we could before getting out of our canoes and pulling them ashore for the portage to the bottom of the waterfall. At one point on the shoreline there was a stack of several large logs that the lumber company had left behind. But those logs overhung the rapidly moving water by about 10 feet. The shore was too steep at that point so our only option was to grab onto the overhanging logs and pull ourselves around that dangerous spot. I went first, and as I pulled myself and my canoe around the ends of the logs, they shifted and fell into the water, pinning me under them. I needed to do something quickly or I would be dragged with the huge logs over the edge of the waterfalls. So I tipped my canoe sideways to free myself, and was now being carried by the water toward the edge of the waterfalls. Seeing the edge of the waterfalls and the mist coming up, I kicked my legs and felt a large rock under the surface of the water. I grabbed onto the rock with my legs and then kicking off the rock I propelled myself toward the shore just a few feet before going over the waterfalls. I got myself ashore, and will soaking wet and tired I was able to grab the rope on the bow of my canoe, and I pulled it ashore, saving it too from going over the edge. That night we had a lot to talk about around the campfire. 😁

Script didn't say that. I know you don't like channels working with brands, and that fine, but it seems that lately you've had beef with Soundcore. I've enjoyed your videos and bought 2 motion boom's based on your videos and have loved them and since gifted them to people a well as other soundcore speakers. I'm sure just like you, we get a crazy amount of offers for brand deals, and turn down most of them. Soundcore has been making great products that people love and providing great value from a reputable brand. We will continue to work with them and I'll continue buying them as gifts for people. They said best speaker outdoor bluetooth speaker under $400 is what they were designing it for. The $500 was my opinion because I've used a wide variety (like you have) and I would rather have this speaker than the JBL Boombox 3 regardless of the price for multiple reasons that I explained in the video. Even the range and reliability alone is well worth it. The JBL speakers I've bought keep cutting out at less than 50ft if something gets into the line of the signal, and the party boost has been really flakey with disconnects and random cutouts even after multiple software updates which is a shame for the price I paid. This Boom 2 Plus signal is fantastic. I walked 100ft away from it into my garage and the signal didn't even stutter with me being that far and behind a wall, and I was in charge of music at a birthday pool party with 30 people this weekend, pairing a Boom 2 with the 2 Plus and they did fantastic all evening and into the night without a single issue 60 feet away from each other.

He has a beef with the entire conflict of interest that is making it virtually impossible to get an unbiased view of their products. It's basically the raycon strategy when every single person is partnering with them to say nice things, it's hard to find anyone that's. For every the 20 or 30 sponsored videos you on these products you might find one that isn't. It's over saturation and a lot of these channels don't even make it really clear that it's a commercial. It might say there's a paid promotion in the top corner, but they don't make it clear and a lot of their fans don't even realize that you're basically just doing a paid advertisement right now. I'm glad soundcore is helping keep creators alive I suppose. But how could I ever buy their products when I can't find a review that isn't tainted by the fact that it was paid. Alan is one of like the only people that isn't getting paid refuses to take paid reviews. Way you suggest he has a personal beef with them when in fact you are being paid to say nice things about them. Seems a little unfair. He just wants people to honestly review speakers. And you are simply not capable of being honest when you sign a contract with them that limits what you can say and forces you to insert very specific lines of commentary Like please point to me to all the places where I can find unbiased unpaid reviews of soundcore products. They have made it impossible by buying off every KZbinr. It's an oversaturation.

The scenery was breathtaking, with a great view from the top where you can see the nearest city in the distance. Everything was going great until we stumbled upon a really big dog that when he saw us he immediately started to bark and to step closer to us. We had no choice but to pedal as fast as we could, maneuvering swiftly between the trees to avoid the dog's pursuit. Man, the Tribit is $160 only with a coupon right now, msrp is $200 and Souncore does sales as well. For just a little more money your getting a noticeably better speaker with more capability and feature than the Tribit. Larger 50W woofers instead of 30w, larger 20W tweeters instead of 15W. The boom 2 plus is loader at 103db. The bass is noticeably deeper at 40hz compared to 50hz (the $500 JBL is also 40hz). The Soundcore also weights about 1/3 less and you get a strap with it. It looks better, it can float, the waterproofing is better (people complain about the Stormbox blast dying if left in the rain or dropped into water) and you have to charge it with an AC cable not usb which is less convenient. The range is also better with the Boom 2 Plus. It looks better and you have partycast 2.0 which works with a huge variety of soundcore speaker as well as future ones. It’s WELL worth the little bit of extra money. Pick one up and see how you like it, I think you’ll love it! We went to a birthday pool party with about 30 adults and the Boombox 2 plus paired with the smaller boombox 2 kept the party going all evening and into the night and sounded amazing with no disconnects or issues and even at close to full volume the battery was still half full after everything (and people charged their phones too) I’m going to get another one to pair these beasts together.

Why don't they use the Bluetooth codec APT X HD or better yet LDAC or LOSSLESS Bluetooth? They are using SBC which is the worst to use only 320kbp/s witch is a VERRY LOSSY. So, this speaker wont sound any better than a MP3 at 320kbp/s. All you're ever going to get out of this is MP3 quality which is GARBAGE. Don't expect anywhere near CD quality sound from this it's IMPOSSIBLE with verry lossy compression that this unit does on the Bluetooth signal path.

She was so distraught that I gave her my old Soundcore Motion Boom I had in my backpack. #roarwithboom I still believe by king and country. Not really an adventure story but when I’m out working at the farm I always bring my JBL boombox 3 with me and it’s just incredible feeling the ground vibrating a bit. The thing just destroys. I’m really curious how this would compare.

“deep, deep bass” - 40 Hz - lmao So it’s “cheap”, loud, lots of bass and great range. Not a single word about sound quality. I wonder why. And while it’s not really possible to reliably judge sound quality from a recording, the example given in this video seems to confirm what I expected: Disappointing sound quality which they try to mask by boosting the bass to oblivion. And 103 dB is so unnecessary. 80 to 85 dB already causes permanent hearing loss with prolonged exposure. To clarify further: 10 dB more feels twice as loud to the human ear, so this thing gets about four times as loud as what would be save for your ears. Of course this drops down with distance, but you definitely don’t want to stand next to that thing on full blast. Unless you really hate hearing things and enjoy tinnitus.

Oh you definitely don't want to have your ears right next to the speaker at full volume, but 103db is great for outdoors at parties with a lot of people like had last weekend (pool party with 30 people) I set it at a distance and cranked it up. No one was next to the speaker but sound filled the area. Also, yes 40hz will not match my SVS subs or Devialet Phantom Gold, but for a $250 battery powered speaker 40hz is great, even the $499 JBL hit the same 40hz at the lowest. The sound quality is really good for the price too. Check it out and get back to me, if you don't like it Amazon has a killer return policy.
