Soundcore Boom 2 Vs W-king D9-1!!! 🥰🥰🥰

Good comparison. I have a pair of each of these speakers and prefer the Boom 2 slightly more also. The big negative for the D9-1 is it scoots off of shelves... with that massive passive radiator in the back. Here's my take on the two: SOUNDCORE BOOM 2 PROS: • Much lighter and smaller. • Better sound and deeper bass at lower and mid volumes. • Clearer vocals. • More forward sound. • Good looking. WKing is ugly. • Great egonomics and handle comfort. • Stays planted while playing. WKing scoots forward and can fall off a table. • Cool programmable light effects. Wking has no lights. • Great phone app. With it I can control volume, lights, 9 band EQ, and turn off speaker. WKing has no app. • Better waterproofing. • Easy firmware updates in app. WKing is tedious. WKING D9-1 PROS: • Slightly better sound quality at higher volumes. Soundstage is fuller, wider, more open and airy. • Goes slightly louder. • No compression and distortion at highest volumes. Boom 2 suffers a bit in the bass. • Both have TWS, but WKing sounds slighty more dynamic. • 40 hour battery. 24 hours for Boom 2. Both are easy to recharge with USBC. • Has 3.5mm aux port and micro sd card slot. Boom 2 has neither. • Costs $55-$77. Boom 2 $89-$130. I prefer the Boom 2 overall. It's close though. Both have advantages and disadvantages. Neither is perfect, but both really do the trick. But the Boom 2 is so much more practical. It's lighter and easier to carry around. And it takes up less space on counters and shelves. Also its app has a 9 band EQ to really fine tune my sound preferences. It remembers my settings everytime I turn it on. And there's no need to tweak it. It sounds great whether I'm listening to a podcast or music. The WKing has only 2 sound settings. One sounds better for podcasts or news, and the other sounds best for music. It's inconvenient to have to toggle between the 2 settings. The WKing D9-1 sounds slightly better when I blast it. But my wife rarely likes loud music, so I have to keep it down when she's around. And I'm learning to enjoy music at lower volumes to curb future hearing damage. And for those times that I really want to experience insane loudness, huge bass and hi fi fidelity, these little speakers fall way short. For that, I've got my 2 much larger, much heavier and unbelievably powerful JBL Encores that I keep in our bathroom. There's just no comparison. They flank each side of the toilet like it's a throne🤣 I blast them while showering and getting ready for the day. They're battery powered and include 4 wireless karaoke mics, and are light and easy enough to take to the patio... for a true dance party jam.

I couldn't have said it better myself, both of these speakers are really good and have their pros and cons, I definitely like to blast my music and text to go for more large speakers, the encore is an absolute beast of a speaker, I really am loving my new gemini ultra rave duo, it's a total beat with a decent battery

You can put third party EQ on the D9 and it'll have more bass but yeah they're both great speakers. Both speakers are my favorite pics for under $100. You will also like X10 but just little pricey

Hello my speaker expert friends. I would like you to battle between s79 and boom2. I already have boom2. It will help me a lot to decide whether to buy s79 or not (Your reviews always help me to decide on speaker). Thanks in advance for your review.

I have them both in the S79 will definitely have more volume possibly A bit more radiance , not to mention last way longer battery life, but by a third the boom two possibly sounds a little cleaner. You will not be disappointed with either one honestly! If you're going to listen in more or less short burst. Mostly in your house and sometimes outside. I would say get the boom too, but if you think you're going to be taking it a lot more places not to mention using it for hours at a time, I would say. Just go for the S79. It will be plenty loud inside and out Without you having to stress about the battery. Remember this when using the S79. It's 3 EQ modes are handy for certain volume levels. Like if you want to play Loud and proud Use the vocal (loudness) mode wich will alson still reatain some bass... baseboost mode is good. Up to 60 maybe 70%, depending on the track Because after that it will distort like hell And the normal EQ is good for up to 80%!

@hyemuhyemu8221 both are about the same loudness but the soundcore can struggle just a little at max volume, wking doesn't have as strong of bass on lower volumes though

The wking d9-1 is explosive packs a punch, but the battery is terrible. i have it constantly on charge in work. It has to be on 2 bars or above for it to perform, or the sound in the sub goes distorted and can't keep up with power output.
