I actually don't have the motion boom plus but I'm guessing the motion boom plus is better, it's a lot bigger and louder looking, this is a pretty small package with a great punchy sound

Wking really does offer great value products i know cause i own the d8. Build quality could be better but for the price its good. You should check if you can find the t9pro cause that one looks promising same with the x20. I'm really glad wking is stepping up their game. Ps you should've removed the plastic film on the rubber feet that's probably why it was moving around.

I do love their speakers and price range for sure, I'm going to try to get a t9 pro at some point in the near future as well as the x10 and d10, I'm loving this little thing!!! It packs a dang good punch for its size, and ya I didn't realize there was plastic at the bottom covering the feet ha ha but I took it off now so it shouldn't vibrate everywhere now ha ha

I was kinda skeptical at first but was pleasantly surprised with how well it performed.

@@Jagistreviews i live in Suriname. My speaker 80 buck online after import fees is about 125 but now like 2 years later it would cost me more then 140. When jbl speakers come in my country 6 -12 months have passed but will be at orginal value even if they imported it half the price when it goes on sale on amazon.

I used to have one. It was seriously great on sound, but I could not get over how ugly the grille is so I sold it and picked up the W-KING X10. Sounds just as good but looks a LOT better. Also, I just got a W-KING D320 last night and can't wait to put it to the test later today. I'm a bit of a W-KING fan boy too, I guess 😆

@@Jagistreviews I got about 6-7 hours of battery life with (mostly) 50% volume, on the first run before it died completely. Second run had better be at least a bit better or she is going back. *100% fully charged* Otherwise it's a PASS

I've got 5 W-King speakers...including two T11's , two D320's, and one X10. Love them all. @HigzyTeflon I think you'll really like the D320. Don't forget that it's one of the currently few W-King speakers that can be used with their new app. For a smaller, portable speaker, it's good very good sound...along with the light show.

I have two of these. They are pretty loud, and you can pair two of them and have left and right channel stereo. The "equalizer" switch just cuts treble and is a waste of space. My real criticism is that it always sounds distorted, and it is. I did a test and at 100 Hz, it has 3% second harmonic distortion and 1.3% third harmonic distortion. As frequency goes up, the distortion drops until at 1 kHz the distortion is ~.2 %, which is pretty good. The the problem is in the woofer. It being dominated by second harmonic, it is likely the woofer driver itself is at fault. The electronics is likely all odd harmonics. I think you will find the JBLs he's got next to it are better sounding. Later: I did get to use them at a pool party, and they are as loud as claimed. The distortion is less noticeable under party use than critical listening, so I expect to keep them for that purpose. One bright spot is battery life. I took them out of 3 months storage, and they pumped out sound for about 6 hours without being topped up. At the end of the day they could still make it loud in a brief test. So good party sound, not so good critical listening.

Does both of your speakers have the same distortin problems or just one? I haven't really noticed much distortion at all from mine, I only use the treble mode as you said the bass mode just cuts treble and makes it sound muddy

@@Jagistreviews I only measured one, but both speakers sound the same to me. 3% second harmonic is not terrible distortion for such an inexpensive device. If you don't normally listen to multi $k buck speakers as I do, you may not hear it. Actually, the 1.3% third harmonic may be bothering me more, or even the higher stuff, which is measurable, out to the ninth. That usually sounds like noise to the human ear, and I hear that too. It sounds like somebody crumpling a wad of paper along with the music. It was worse before I broke in the speaker. I almost sent it back, but decided to try a break-in. That did improve it so it is tolerable for casual use along side a pool outdoors. I'll try it this summer, and if I can't get used to it I will buy something else.

Anyways I'm so glad you got one, I will still do my review of them because I do have 2 and trust me, 2 is extremely powerful for 2 small boxes. Can you link me the app that you have for frequency the one I have seems kind of wack. Btw if you really want to see how well the bass can be you need to check out some dnb like, artist(bagwell) song, dystopia or artist (leaf) song, got to leave or song, disconnected. It's pure badass-ness

Heck yes you really should still do your review on this, I can't imagine how good 2 of them probably sound together, I'm loving this thing, it packs such a good bassy punch especially for its size and price point, its blowing me away so far, I'll check out that song and see what this thing can do!!! I'm also going to do a hertz test video and I'll post it soon, the hertz app I use is called hertz generator and it's an orange app it's on the android market place

Ps take the stickers off the bottom of the speaker to let the rubber stop it from sliding around, imagine 20 more wats lol ya bro, i love my d9 dash ones. They are incredibly powerful, also at peak power the batery will last about 3 to 4 hours 100% volume full bass m when paired together at 160 wats it just kills the batery prettty fast but bass mode off you get about 5, 5 1/2 hours 😅😅😊😊 im more of the bass head so i letem rip full bass full volume 😊

the USB issue is not a deal breaker, and I do plan on going all doctor house on it soon to see what can be fixed. if not, yes I'm getting another replacement and probably a pair as planned. the ONLY con: they are not small, nor light. but neither is the sound. worth the hernia. lol
