I can only confirm what you say in your review. The motion boom overdrives really quickly with high volume. With Dolby Atmos I don't need the special soundcore app, because I can get more power out of it, but I can't increase the bass by more than +2 für 47hz, otherwise the volume is over at 70-80% and the speaker overdrives and rattles a lot.

@@TheAscendedTechNinja and although the motion boom comes down very low, the Sony SRS-XG 500 is a whole different level against it. I've tested both and really often, so I don't feel like comparing anything. As a result, I know exactly how both perform and Sony is simply a force with dolbyatmos. I plan to sell my Motion Boom on ebay soon, if the jbl boombox 3 is really good, I'll save my money for it.🔥

You have got to give motion boom a lot of respect, mixing it up with speakers 3x the price. I don't care about aesthetics, I don't buy a speaker to look at it am about the sound. If you are a bass junkie like me the motion boom booms, Jbl doesn't keep the deep bass on max volume.

@@TheAscendedTechNinja Harman is like 4 times the price of motion boom so I should expect a bit more. No speak in the same price range as motion boom can stand toe to toe. I think "Teufel Rockster cross" is the ultimate beast for base it is ridiculous.

Nobody understand the information, but if you read the specifications, what it exactly explain is: one woofer and one tweeter both get 25 w rms, (people think than every one get 25 w) so two woofers and two tweeters get 50 W rms....as easy as that...😎😎

And I also think that it is a big bummer that jbl doesn’t have a eq. It would be a great update in the future. But jbl quality still tops soundore in my opinion. But everyone wants something different for the, I just know that jbl makes the best rigid speakers. I dropped mine of my bike while riding and no damage. I also submerged mine in water before and it was fine.

3:38 because it’s bi amplified, like some old Panasonic minis and JBL pro 3 series 8:47 it’s 60w in DC 4:00 JBL’s eq varies from-4 to 4 (in 2db steps, thanks to Alan Ross graphics comparisons)

I think the motion boom sounds good but it just lacks the clarity that's it but personally the jbl extreme series are a disappointment to me because I have the motion plus and with the eq I have it has deeper bass then the extreme 3 by a little bit and it gets a little more louder but I can say on some songs at it's max volume there is a bit of bass distortion which is very small but is it there on some songs which imo I can live with sense the speaker really sounds great but I will say watch the 150hz slider as it can add more destortion but I have it basically at 0 sense the speaker has alot of upper bass and mid bass aswell.

The motion Boom exposes the xtreem jbl 3 and 2 for its awful price and makes you realized you just got conned. Extra clarity in sound and asthetic isn't worth the additional £200. Which makes the winner for me motion Boom.But I wish they improved design. But I love how light it is.

The Xtreme 2 is 200$ which isn't to bad but the Motion Boom plus shows how much you can get while not being that much bigger. The Tribit Stormbox Blast pound for pound for 200$ is a steal but it's not in the same class.

If your going to be in the house and you want a wide Soundstage with much better low volume listening with the versatility of 2 speakers 2 charge 5s. If you just want to blast your music and carry it otg Xtreme 3. But I'm testing the Soundcore Motion Boom Plus and if your trying to get the best value for your money with great sound I would personally buy that

Xtreme 3 is 50 Watts total output I think it's running 40 on the battery. no way in hell is this thing 80 w especially when they subtracted its bass performance! three sounds better compared to Xtreme 2 but 2 still hits noticeably deeper!

Look at the specs sheet bro I figured out 2 weeks ago and the Xtreme 3 bass is deeper the bass o. The Xtreme 2 has more of a punch
