We had a 1st gen Echo in our master bathroom for listening to music in the morning kzbin.infoUgkxABghAEkaIDGZfHRBH3D3rBrlraNmnC71 and while in the shower. I didn't realize how tinny and awful the sound output on the original Echo was until we replaced it with the Studio. It was a sonic upgrade far beyond what I was expecting. Just wow. I love it because it's like having speakers IN the shower. My friend likes it because the music is so loud that she can no longer hear me singing. So that's a win-win.

The soundcore boom has that deep low end which you can't find in most of the other speakers and also lots of clarity Motion boom is the best buy in my opinion If you put the motion boom in a corner it wil just blow your mind The sound and bass that comes out from this speaker it's similar to the large speakers You can even compare it to a powerful subwoofer for the low deep end that it produces The bass you can feel and hear Amazing speaker It has no competition so far

At the end of your video, all the alternatives you mentioned are either equal to, or higher in price compared to the boom. What if you want a cheaper option? I've been using the soundcore 2 for the last couple of years and it's been great but I want a better speaker in all respects; better, fuller sound with more bass but I'd prefer to remain under the $100 mark. Any great options you could share?

I also reviewed the W-KING - which was pretty good. But the batteries in both units I had failed so hard to recommend if you need something that's going to last!
@Владимир-т6м8с3 жыл бұрын
I chose and ordered a motion boom, it is almost 3 times cheaper than the extreme 3, and the sound is not much worse. I don't really like the look, but the sound is soft and spacious, the boom is lighter, a comfortable handle for carrying. grab this music playback from a flash drive. And if there was still color music, then this column would be out of competition. I will wait for delivery to Russia for a month and a half, but it's worth it.

Excellent review, thank you. I found you whilst looking for portable bluetooth speaker reviews. I'm a musician and have an outdoor gig this w/e with a singer so need remote amplification (me on accordion, they singing on the back of a custom Chevy truck for a Day of the Dead Festival...!) . Many options the challenge. I finally settled on the W-King 50W as it has a cloth strap so less bulky and on a great deal at Amazon atm if you get the green version. I also bought an Ankuka Karaoke Mic which bluetooth to pair it with the W-King. We shall see....Bluetooth mics seem to be growing in popularity. Most out there look cheap and garish (the Ankuka no exception but at least I got in black as opposed to gold, pink etc). There's not many good reviews out there of these mics (hint hint). For musicians and singers in particular, being able to perform remotely unreliant on mains power a game-changer. Must-haves would need to include multiple bluetooth pairing or similar facility (so one can play music from phone etc AND sing/play along with bluetooth mic). Instruments with 1/4 inch jack outputs (most) can use a 1/4 inch to 3.5mm adapter. Apologies for rambling comment, possibly just thinking aloud on my part but perhaps of interest. (btw, your channel shows a geotag of Dartmoor National Park, One of my favourite places with friends in S Zeal, Oakie and Throwleigh!)

Hello i ve a question. i ve different soundcore bluetooth speakers but onyl with the MOTION BOOM i ve suffered this problem: at the first steps of the volume (the volume is sync with my galaxy samsung phone) the quality is soo bad, sound muffled, no dynamic and something similar to “zero treble”. With up step of volume the speaker starts to play well and the sound quality is very good. With others speakers as BOOST UPGRADED, SOUNDCORE 2 the quality is good at already the first steps of the volume. I ve two motion boom tested and the problem is present in both. Do you experience something similar? Thanks you at all.

I have Motion Plus and Rave Neo, and I like both. It's hard to call one of them "better" than the other. They are for different purposes. Rave Neo is much larger, more powerful, has better bass, and cool LED light show. So for party situations, Rave Neo is better. Motion Plus has very detailed, accurate sound, decent bass, and is compact. So Motion Plus is better for close listening and portability. Both are great, but I find myself listening to my Rave Neo more often. It's more fun!

Thank you Chris sound! It's very hard to say - I do really like the Minirig - two of them would be even better! But still haven't found the perfect portable speaker but will keep looking!

Need better sound recording 🎶 missing Bass 🤔 thanx

Thanks for the feedback. I think my current setup gives a pretty good representation of how these speakers sound, and at least lets you hear how they compare. But I listen to hours and hours of various music tracks and so hopefully have a good feeling for how the speakers sound and can convey that in the review verbally. But I will always look to continuously improve the recordings.

@@TheTechnologyMan There was plenty of bass on my Logitech X-540. I can hear the differences night and day. Don't change anything, seriously. It sounds fine.

W King T9 is the best sounding W King available and better than the Motion Boom.
@TheTechnologyMan3 жыл бұрын
Thanks not tried the T9 yet ...
@bryanbryant99623 жыл бұрын
I agree, T9 is the best W King speaker. D9 comes in a very close second and has the advantage of being much more portable.

Not sure I fully understand your question (translated to English). But it has some decent volume - if you want more check out the Motion Boom Plus.

Crossed off list. No 3.5 mm jack.
@TheTechnologyMan3 жыл бұрын
Yes had a few comments where viewers wanted a 3.5mm port.
@tomelew84653 жыл бұрын
@@TheTechnologyMan Okay Thanks. Some great videos by the way! You know the irony is that technology companies are starting to delete the 3.5 mm jack just as HD and Hi-Rez music streaming is finally coming to fruition. And the 3.5 is the only way to enjoy it from phones and other portable sources (I know, I know, not "the only" but in terms of practicality for portables the only)
