It’s a great board especially when you send each track from your DAW back to the board for analog SUMING🎚 there’s nothing like it that I have encountered thus far that could achieve that sound without buying external hardware gear I appreciate your view and your comment have a blessed year 🤴🏾✨

@@theboss965 That’s a nice board as well but it cost $ 2700 which is 5 times more expensive than the SoundCraft mtk 12 while lacking the same on board Lexicon zero latency analog effects it also has 4 less microphone preamps.. With all that said & understanding that the SSL big 6 is NOT wired with the same components nor capacitors as a original vintage SSL console (Unlike the Soundcraft mtk which has the same ghost microphone preamps from the sound craft ghost analog console) I think The SSL board is good for people that either hasn’t done extensive research that’s wants something cool too look at or are into fancy Names & Bragging rights ..

I still use mine daily,value for money at the time was outstanding, but then I’m only using it for recording instruments into a DAW, 12 channels of USB recording as opposed to just 2 was a deal breaker for me.

Love your review mane, i appreciate you sharing your knowledge. I’ve been scoping this Board for a while but I was not aware of the power supply issue thx for the heads up. I’m saving for a 22 mtk right now, it’s extra but I want it anyway. I agree tho, the issue with the outs is crazy however even with that limitation it’s in a class of its own with the 4 band, the color, and channel separation. I wanted the Tascam M24 but it’s all makeup💄which is heartbreaking, no real EQ control. Hopefully we get a real competitor to this soon, that would be dope. ✌🏾n💜

@@levelletate4551 you’re welcome brother 🫡✨& I agree the tascam is no match for this board at all . This is the closest thing that I have ever gotten to an actual analog board With transformers. So as of right now this is the only option if you want that track separation . the Eq is actually good on this board & with a preamp and a compressor you need very little plug-ins using a board like this but that power supply does go , it was a pretty simple fix with a Philip screwdriver to replace it there’s videos online showing you how to do it the replacement piece cost me about $50. Does the soundcraft mtk have any DAW midi integration? Ideally send fx outboard on mixer to control same inboard DAW?

@@b_clareteazivincent9158 There are two different versions .. The blue one does not have as many features .. it lacks multi track recording so it won’t record individual tracks separately with its on eq like the grey 1 does .. the mtk stands for “ multi track recoding “
