Soundcraft Ui Series Tutorial: More Me!

This is all great. It starts however by missing the point. I set my I pad up with pass word to access the Ui24R, I am in, I can control the FOH mix ( and everything else for that matter) Now the problem occurs. Maybe it is because i have put the password in my phone at some point, but when i try to pretend to be the guitarist, and use my phone...I have to log in. Then I (still pretending to be the guitarist) can access as much as the main I pad. How do you get into the 'More me' without having to log in with pass word...as soon as you do this there is too much access. Both videos start after the initial hook up. Please someone...start from the beginning...don't presume / assume we're already flying. I mean I am...it is a superb peice of kit. The band however are becoming despondent at not being able to 'More me' themselves. There is very little in the manual which starts from explaining whether you need to log in (seems obvious) I have assigned more me, and My out, they are orange, but it is locked. Everythinig is locked, then I out the oass word in and low and behold....EVERYTHING is accessible.

Hi guys....my church just got this mixer and wonder if you can add more than one channel onto the moreme feature? e.g, a vocal and guitar track to the aux in a moreme setting.

Does each band member have to do this on their phone/ipad through the main panel before going to the show me button? Or does this get done for each aux/ch at the "main" board?

Since asking this question, (and getting no response from soundcraft), have figured this out. While the system works well, it is a bit dangerous as when a band member opens the mixing panel at ui.io, they have full control of the board. yikes. We have one guy constantly making changes on the main board accidentally. Answer: each member has to set themselves up for this. They choose the aux mix, then select themselves as shown in the video. Turning your phone sideways is a shortcut to the more me panel once you have set your aux mix to you.

Thank you for your post. Pardon me for the question (I'm new at this) but this also allows the phone to serve as my monitor with my own headphones?

No. Just allows you to manage your own mix. You have to run an aux feed to a headphone amp for each band member.

hello, how I can record a drum by separate tracks in a Ui 16?

I wana run my ui12 off a phone i use for lyrics, which is in portrait on a stand that cant be rotated. i just want to be able to switch between windows on my lyric phone to unmute or adjust the mix during my performance and use my other phone for sound checking and dialing in settings...any way to view the main mix in portrait without that silly 'more me' setting being visable? im having to use two phones on stage attached using two clamps jerry rigged onto the one stand, one phone displaying lyrics in portrait and the other for mixing in landscape, id just prefer to use one phone whilst on stage without having to rotate my phone to make a momentary tweak - there is no option in phone mode to remove 'more me', tablet mode wont load on the lyric phone...aaahhhhgggg Thanks

I am not sure this is a good idea. What about the poor FOH guy, who cant understand why the whole system is getting into FB, because a ´More Metoo´ has put her monitor much too high?
