Shitty POV cause I’m bored and it’s literally 1:30 in the morning? Yes. … It was late at night and you were stuck in a room with L Lawliet, also knows as Ryuzaki. He was doing research (while munching down on some delicious cake) and you were stuck there helping him out- you hadn’t gotten the chance to do much though, he mainly put you in charge of babysitting Light and Kisa… but they were gone now. It was just you two, some half-eaten cake and the ambience of the city. The silence was too loud though, and you had grown tired of the constant tapping sound of L’S keyboard. “L…” you dragged his name with boredom, hanging upside down on the couch as the blood rushed to your head. No response. “Ryuzaki??” Still nothing, “L Lawliet, stop ignoring me!!” You dragged the words again, now sitting upright and pouting towards him. *nothing*. So now it was time for your boss move- cake. You began reaching for his cake, ready to grab the fork and take a bite, until a hand fell on top of yours and stopped your movement, “Don’t touch that.” L’s deep and tired voice whispered into your ear, causing you to turn and face him. He was closer than you though and the two of you were now face to face, noses only a few inches away from each other. You could feel your cheeks heating up as he gripped your hand tighter, pulling it back. “Do you need something?” He asked “I’m bored…” “Oh… right. Well according to my research, boredom is be-“ You cut him off, “Screw your research L; can you just take a break for a **few** minutes?” You begged He thought for a moment and then shook his head, turning to go back to his work, “This case is to important.” A low groan escaped your mouth as you rolled to the other end of the couch, your head resting in your hand as you stared out the window and at the large city around you. L was your boyfriend, which many thought was unbelievable… but the two of you had been dating for almost three months now. He wasn’t very affectionate, though he’d give small kisses and hugs every now and then, you still loved him so very much- but sometimes you wanted a little more than just small kisses and hugs. Instead of giving up, you moved closer to him. Your hands lifted up his laptop as you placed your head onto his lap. With a yawn you said, “Just a small break?” The sudden affection surprised the tired man, but he reluctantly agreed and you set his laptop aside. The two of you adjusted yourselves to get more comfortable. He was laying down, your head on his chest and his hands ran through your hair. It was peaceful. After a few minutes of that relaxing silence, you felt yourself growing tired. By the time your eyes could barely stay open you said, “I love you…” and fell asleep.
