I do agree that it has a Beatles feeling to it, Chris himself said he listened to a lot of Beatles. You should listen to Head Down from the superunknown album, it has a huge Beatles vibe to it in my opinion

I agree with you- the melody, tremolo, rotary, and fuzz guitar, and 12-string rhythm guitar reminded me immediately of a mixture of the Beatles melodies from Revolver/Sgt. Pepper, George’s inventive guitar tones from Magical Mystery Tour, and John’s writing and vocal delivery from the likes of ‘Happiness Is A Warm Gun’ from the White Album.

Looks like you have not yet heard “My Wave” by Soundgarden - great, rocking tune. I remember an interview in which the band is laughing about how people would try to dance to it and wound up looking like a bunch of ping pong balls dropped at once - they would devolve into a chaotic mass. Anyway, it’s a really great one!

There's a cover of this by the band Living Colour, they were friends with Soundgarden and Chris. During the live cover of this song after Cornell left this place, homie (lead singer of Living Colour) starts getting choked up and crying during the performance, I can't make it through that performance without leaking.. I love this song! I remember it was on the list of songs banned by radio stations after 9/11. Anyway, there's something I'd love for you to check out. It's Chris Cornell "One." He was planning on covering the song "One" by U2. He googled "One lyrics" and what popped up was the song "One" by Metallica. He's so creative, he just said alright, and he put the lyrics for Metallica's "One" to the music of U2's "One." It works brilliantly. If you are familiar with both songs, you have to see it.
