Sounds much different than the version I remember on cassette back when it was released. Much less murky. It clearly is modeled structurally after Zep's Song Remains the Same. I find the band during this era hitting all cylinders. Hiro's bass was brought out much more in the new mix.

@chriswaters2327 I don't know what qualifies as a really good system, but the ways I listen, going back & forth between them, the original mix & master sounds overall better to me. i'm not an analog purist by any means. and there are some modern remasters/remixes that i do think sound better than the original, the recent Pink Floyd Animals, for example

The opening riffs sound similar, that's all. Not accusing Nirvana of copying but even though the notes are different, the rhythm is pretty much the same.. edit: Kind of stupid looking back on this, definitely not a copy + rhythms are not copyrightable anyway
