Wow well this is by a massive margin the best vocoder I've ever heard and probably the best ever created. This just makes me respect GRP even more, it takes a real love of synthesis/sound design for a company to create an instrument like this. We all know there isn't a huge market for vocoders per their niche sound characteristics so to make one like this for the msrp they're asking- I give them mad props. Put some respek on their name!

4:48 says single voice but external voices can be used for chords.

@@andywells2008 Marvellous! I would specifically take a look and see so that the letters don't get too tight together. Example is the letter i get too close to next letter. This may occur when using a "bad" typeface/font, sometimes because of postscript issues when sending the final art to the screen printer. Or perhaps if using a non-standard software for doing the print file. Too me it looks as if its a bad typeface but could so many things doing this. I'm sure your graphic designer finds the issue but if he/she needs a second eye I'd be happy to help as far as I can.

I agree price is a joke it sounds horrible for its price range, I own the original SVC-350 and a Roland VP-330 Vocoder Plus mk2 they sound cleaner. My Novation Nova Laptop built in 40 band if I recall sounds better than this. Looks cool thou but not 3 G's!

@@Decode303 hmm well judging by the comments, everyone else disagrees w/ you. I suspect some potential bias based on you owning those other vocoders? I fucking love the VP-330 but I don't know how you can say it sounds cleaner than this Synthesizer V22. Just based on how vocoders work- the 10 bands of the VP-330 cannot contend w/ the 22 bands of the GRP. Just listening to a recorded low quality KZbin video demo at synth show- I could fully understand every vocoded word he said. I cannot say the same for when I've heard the VP-330 and other analogue vocoders.. and those I heard in person, not on a KZbin video.
