SoundOff Signal 380 Siren

This is my SoundOff Signal 380 siren that I purchased new from Emergency Vehicle Professionals. It has many cool features that make it stand apart from many self-contained siren amplifiers on the market. I will be shooting a second video soon that will have longer siren tones as well as a Rumbler System hooked up to it.

Great siren! Good to see a video demo on it as i haven't really seen many on youtube at all so great job. I managed to find a great deal on a 4oo series siren with faceplate controller so i sold my 380 n jumped on that. Both great sirens though and very similar in function.

Does the knob have to be on "Stand By" in order to change the tones after pushing in the number 2 and 3 buttons? Will only sound the wail and yelp tones on my unit. Thanks.

Anyway you could help me out? So is there a program setting I could change to enable backlit such as yours. In my patrol car it is not backlit currently however I’d like to change that if possible. Thanks!

Which siren are you using? Should be able to see it backlit at night even on setting 1 unless they didn't connect the backlight wire altogether. You can go on s.o.s website and download install instructions and it'll tell you which wire you gotta hook up either to something that gets +12v when lights come on or ACC, whichever you choose.

Quick question, im planing to get a touchmaster delta for my truck Do i just get a control box and a speaker, hook them up and to the power source? Or what eles do i have to do?

That’s pretty much it. Depending on how you will mount it, you might need a face plate bracket. I would also look into connecting a relay from the battery so the siren is not directly connected to the battery. There are videos on YT showing how to connect a relay.

@@njresponsevideos9656 eBay is usually where I go, but I did use a handful of private contacts. If you have enough patients, you can usually find a good deal on eBay.

kzbin.info/www/bejne/lWengYduitilqbs The alert tone on the 380 sounds just like the yelp tone in this Haztec siren. The Haztec (or more likely a Chinese copy) is what I hear everywhere in my city. No wonder it sounded so familiar.

You’re correct, it does sound very similar. My city mainly uses Touchmasters and the Code 3 Z3.

Guess you have the inside track on how to purchase from their company. Website link on their facebook page shows the domain for sale. Not a good way to do business.

I actually bought this one through a connection I have and not direct from the company. For fun, I went to their FB page, but I was able access their website and didn’t see anything relating to the domain. Then again, I’m not a computer techie person so I could have very well missed it as well.
