I love this song, it reminds me so much of one of the characters from a fictional story that I am working on (well, it's only in my head right now, and I am unsure if I should ever write or publish it). I decided to share a bit of it, like it or not, I don't care. This would be one excerpt in which the being "recruits" somebody who was defeated in a fight against one of the "good guys" and abandoned by her "allies", also one of the first real appearances of that being. She was just lying there, on the ground, motionless, looking at her right arm that had just been cut off, placing the other hand on the hole in her chest, where the stranger's blade had stabbed her, when suddenly the air itself became colder, an odd, unfamiliar feeling started to overcome her, could this be death itself? A strange figure started to emerge from the shadows, humanoid in shape, but completely covered in white bandages, like an ancient Egyptian mummy, wearing a crimson cape on its back, the only spots on its body that weren't completely covered were its two glowing red eyes and what could only be interpreted as a mouth. It started walking towards her, she tried to move, but was unable to, too weak even to sit. "Do not fear me, human" the being said in a calm, yet slightly echoing voice "I have not come to harm you, nor to kill you. I have come to help you, if you accept of course." It started circling her, its footsteps not even making the slightest sounds, as if it was not touching the ground. "You have nothing, you are nothing. Disposable, unloved by this world. Beaten. Defeated. Abandoned by those you considered your allies as they evacuated. Left to die out here, on this outpost in the middle of nowhere. Tell me, what has this world ever done for you? What has this world ever caused you except misery?" It stopped and looked into her eyes, not blinking, not even waiting for a response from her it continued speaking: "I know you wish to be somebody, be recognized, loved, valued, perhaps even worshipped or feared. Through me you can accomplish that goal. I know you have the potential to be much more than just a mere human, one amongst many, you have the potential to rise above them all, becoming more powerful than everyone in this world combined. I can give you access to power from beyond this world, and we will teach you how to wield it. You'll become one of us, you will be able to inact revenge upon this world, together we will tear down this universe, make it pay for its past transgressions, and build a new, better world! A world that we shall rule! I know what you could be capable of, I know you wouldn't throw this chance away." It started to kneel down next to her "The only things you have to do are to accept my offer and to swear loyalty to me." It extended one of its arms towards her. She lifted her left hand, as bloody as her wounds, from the wound and grabbed its hand. "Then we shall begin" the being said, and teleported them away...

I played with friends rpg their own making and used many songs from Aviators for campaign. Especially last where my warlock/shaman (mixed race: incubus/drakomorph) guy who implements his magic skills with martial arts and thought-controlled drones goes to peak of power. In that world there three powers called firstborn. 13 dragons of order, neutral firstborn of darkness and destructive horrors of chaos. In this world my character made pact with Derian- lady of Darkness, Empress of Darkness Firstborn, She Who Laught At World. And that song was used as introduction to her. Well campaign ended when crazy goddess "Purity" try to make everything pure creating elemental monsters or cutting unnecesary thing from human minds creating 7 Deadly Sins. Final fight was epic and my character used spell combo: "Curse of Divinity Fall", Lower Magic Resistance, Curse of Weak Mind, and peak of mental corruption spells "ALL HENTAI OF THE WORLD!!!" Purity lost her divine rights, were degraded only to ascended immortal and ended as perverted maid who loves house chores, freshly taken woman undergarment, BL books and world was saved. My character was able to come back to his tower.

You always find a way to top my favorite song list again and again with music I'd usually avoid Aviators. I usually can't stand synthwave as it's usually felt, to me, empty and cold sounding. It's always had this extremely open feeling which I don't like in my music. BUT THIS, if THIS is what synthwave is, then I need to get a new music dealer lol. This is amazing! It'shaunting, taunting, alluring, knows what it is and the message, and executes getting that message across flawlessly, all while sounding like synthwave but, to me, not feeling lost but rather sure in it's purpose and, therefore, powerful. I could go on and on about how much I love this song. TLDR; You redefined my "taste" for yet another genre of music Aviators, cheers!
