I've loved this since I heard it in Modern Mythology. It's such a fitting song for Dark Souls' characters, the player's or the non-playable. Most of the characters have some sort of hope and driving force, and want companionship in the harsh world. Most of them don't have lofty self-ambitions. They just want to set the world right. And you can even see the ripple effect of one's companionship. No matter where you are in the Souls universe, you can always count on there being a bright sun for you to praise. This will probably become my mental theme song for me and my friend. I met him playing DS3 and needed help with Friede. That was 3 years ago, and we have crushed every obstacle, defeated every foe and slain every god that tried to stop us ever since.
