Yeah, I think that's very much a theme of the game. Quite the send-off for the series, a song to share the delights we all had at the same bonfires dozens - hundreds - of times. Trials both in a game and in life, finding out respite in the comfort of strangers who'd never know our story and we'd never know theirs as for a brief moment we shared our rest at bonfires between the roughest of times before some of our greatest triumphs. So, fractured and feeble - ordinary people - how about a little more jolly cooperation in the shadows of gods, lands long forgotten, and at the ends of time? Till we meet again at a bonfire!

I've loved this since I heard it in Modern Mythology. It's such a fitting song for Dark Souls' characters, the player's or the non-playable. Most of the characters have some sort of hope and driving force, and want companionship in the harsh world. Most of them don't have lofty self-ambitions. They just want to set the world right. And you can even see the ripple effect of one's companionship. No matter where you are in the Souls universe, you can always count on there being a bright sun for you to praise. Thanks Solaire, for never giving up on us. Also, I love that very sneaky song reference. You know the one.

"Some lit by grace or by embers, we're searching together." I fucking LOVE this line. Whether Elden Ring was your first, or you've been here since Demon Souls, we're all one big community, bound together by one thing: We all went through the same journey, some alone, some with friends. But we each made it our own is our own little way. These beautiful worlds we've all walked together. The struggles we shared, the battles we fought, sometimes together, sometimes against each other. Here's to you all. See you at the next bonfire.

This song holds a special place in my heart. A perfect ending to Modern Mythology and a perfect ending to 2022.

Knocked it out of the park again! I love how it almost sounds like a Christmas song but it's about Dark Souls. Great Job!
