SoundPEATS make some great earphones but they need to improve their marketing and presentation. I’ve added these to my cart as my Airpods are dead. Sometimes I like to take a break from jamming silicon or foam in my ears, and in summer it’s too hot for headphones most of the time. Cheers for the reviews.

Thanks for keeping at covering semi-in-ear earphones.. basically airpod alternatives.. sometimes my brother and I do feel like using no-ear tips earphones and there are not many great budget options there.

I have had some other SoundPeats in the past and enjoyed them. I have had AirPods Pro for the last coupes years and enjoyed them but I had one misplaced and needed an alternative because the Mic on the SoundPeats I have were not good and I do a lot of calls. I came to your channel as I always do for recommendations and want to say thank you for this recommendation- I got a pair for my wife and I for the same cost as one set AirPods and these are fantastic! I love them and they have been great in all the ways I would have expected! Thanks as always for your AMAZING content!

These look good for < $50 open-air earbuds. I like more sound isolation, so I wouldn't be a buyer, but it sounds like they're a good value for anyone looking for this earbud type.

The Good: One of my cheapest buds out of about 15 wireless buds. Friggin awsome sound with a slight base increase though eq, rich, good base & mids, warm, clean with just enough sparkle in the treble. Many may disagree but I class them not that far behind my airpods pro gen 2 for sound quality. Comfort long time wearing is really good without fatigue to the ears. The Bad: Shitty limited controls function, not being able to customize. Can be slightly problematic when sleeping with them in. Often accidently press the buttons just by moving head on the pillow. Doesn't automatically connect when pulled out of the case. Have to manually select in my android Bluetooth menu, even then, may have to increase the volume as it is usually at zero for me, some sort of possible bug? There is no ANC and because it is an Open earbud, outside sound can be heard. Its says it has Noise Cancelling which is pretty non existent. The app is next to usless, has some basic eq presets. Having said that, I use AIMP which has it's own eq presets that I customize anyway. Shit battery life. It says you get 5hrs, but I average around the 4 hr mark most times, along with one bud draining quicker than the other by up to 15min. The Verdict: It is one of my favorite buds. I can and do overlook all the bad things because it is super cheap and the sound quality is super good and can sleep with them in without hurting my ears. I put the sound quality in the same arena as my airpods, nothing 2 and JBL Live PRO 2. Note: All my wireless and wired buds are for one thing, listening to music, mainly so for sleep, walking & work, so I go for sound quality, not phone calls etc

These seem pretty cool. My son lost an Airpod and needs to replace his pair. I bought him the EarFun Free Mini but he doesn't like those. I might run these by him.

I have the regular Air 3s, I love them, at the expense of a larger case and yes slightly longer total battery life, idk if it's worth upgrading from regular Air 3s.

Idk why they didn't out the updated QCC 3046 chip on these like the Air3 Pro, that new chip further improves on latency so these are basically identical to the original Air3 just with a different case with more total battery life, I wonder which case is smaller because the original Air3 case is the most pocketable case I've ever seen
@vinzzniv82642 жыл бұрын
they can't use qcc 3046. that chipset is only used for in-ears since it supports ANC. qcc3040 doesn't support ANC

I like the work that you do. I have a special request that I don’t think you’ve covered. Which earbuds have the best sound? If you were to differentiate could you please recommend at a few price points any earbuds that have the best sound. Thank you! Rick

Hey Gamesky! I am looking to pick up my first real pair of Bluetooth headphones so I've been watching a bunch of your videos. I am curious if you have some ideas on what pair will be the most comfortable to sleep in. I generally just listen to podcasts, so all of the specs aren't super important. Let me know if you have recommendations for something that I can lay on and will feel comfortable between my ear and the pillow. I'm also bothered by earbuds that easily fall out. Weird request- I know- but could be an interesting video angle too if you've got a few recommendations. Was looking at the JVC Gumy Mini (which I haven't seen you review), SoundPEATS T2, and Comfobuds Mini at different price points, though I won't know the feel till I buy them. Thanks for the vids and lmk if you have any thoughts!

Being able to EQ them to add the bass that's missing from being an open-ear design makes all the difference for me. I find them to now have very rich, uncompromising sound while being fully transparent, plus their price makes them a no-brainer.
@kalgeriax1016 Жыл бұрын
How do you add the bass? I don't understand using the EQ
@hecntina Жыл бұрын
@@kalgeriax1016 Using the Soundpeats app, you can enable the EQ and slide the left-most slider up about half way, leaving everything else the same, so you get a bump in bass...at least that's my preference. The result is a much richer sound. You can play around with the sliders while listening to music, so you can hear the effect that it has.

My advice : buy Foam pads (but Thin ones) like for older semi in ears before the "Silicon Invasion" and you get better fit and deeper Bass. I do this since my soundpeats True buds. The Sound is an easy listening one good for Podcast but Not for listening music. It Sounds boring compared to earfun free pro. But otherwise the earfuns might to be annoing for long listening because of the analytic hights.

For the ANC in the app, I have emailed them asking about this for my Air 3, they have responded that this feature is not available with Air 3 (and I guess Air 3 deluxe), so the issue is that in the app they should remove the ANC completely for the headphone that doesn’t support it
@Ricky_RSC2 жыл бұрын
They removed it in the last firmware update, and added an option to disable the 1 touch command

Hey Mr. Gamesky. I do appreciate what you do. The videos and information are very good. One thing I have an issue with is soundpeats. I've had many pairs and they always end up with some issue. The sound quality is really good but I've had battery issues as well as volume issues. I've been in contact with soundpeats a bunch in the past couple of years and they usually take care of things. I'm just asking for my own personal information. Have you had any issues with them? I ask because I know you like the soundpeats brand. Any info will help. Thanks in advance.

I have the original Trueair 2, very satisfied with the sound. But after 1,5 year of use, suddenly the battery is swollen to the point that it cracks the plastic case. Now it's not holding any more charges. I've been thinking of getting another replacement semi in-ear phones. Hopefully my Trueair 2 was just an isolated case.

why do you always say 'apt x adaptive' is the best codec and sounds great, but when you review a pair without aptx adaptive you always say 'i never noticed any compression issues and it sounded great'? im not being sassy, just genuinely curious if you of all people (the expert) cant notice a difference in codecs, why should anyone care about them?

With other earbuds where I say that it's true but I'm using them in a controlled environment over WiFi. AptX Adaptive keeps the most consistency out on a cell signal as well
