I just received my soundproof window panel today and I am very satisfied. The room is much quieter now. I have some noisy neighbors and there are a lot of kids on my street. If the DB reader is right, 7-15db in reduction is ALOT.. Everytime you add 6db or opposite it its a 100% increase/reduction.

- 6 dB is 1/4 . -10 dB is 1/10. That is QUITE significant. The Decibel Scale is logarithmic. Just what we need for our band rehearsal space.

I have road noise problem. I need something heavy duty barrier to block noise from coming into the house. This is for a 3 windows in 1. the total size is: 112" W x 72" H. Would need to be able to hang or roll up for sun light when needed. Do you have any recommendation. Again, need heavy duty barrier.

These barriers are heavy duty. due to that fact they cannot "roll up" however you can lift up the bottom part and attach to hooks as shown in the video.

The non clear ones would be effective.

does the Velcro destroy the wall or the paint on the wall? do you have a heavy duty product for us loud recording studio guys? Thanks

It is commercial velcro so it very well may peel off some paint if/when you try to remove it. We can manufacture this panel with a 2 pound barrier in place of a 1 pound barrier if you are looking for something more heavy duty however you would need more support, i.e. hooks in addition to the velcro to hold it up. Actually, 15 db is huge, if your If you are staring around 45-55 dba.
