I don't think you could imagine how important this video is for me. It's a bit cheesy to say this, but this song really does "sound like overwatch" back when it first came out. The magic of what Overwatch once was is forever preserved in this single video. With PVE being cancelled in OW2 and all the other nonsense OW2 is riddled with, videos like these help remind me of the fact that Overwatch was once a game with heart and soul poured in by people who wanted to create something meaningful for their audience to experience playing. So thank you, your work of art will forever preserve the dedication, talent, effort and love that those people gave to Overwatch when it first released in 2016.

Everytime I come back to this video I have a smile on my face. It reminds me of all the good time I've had while playing this game. It reminds me of all the great people I've met thanks to this game, of the happy or rage filled moments we shared. It makes me wish I could go back to the year 2017 and play it for the first time again, to live throught my first POTG, event, legendary and so much more. I remember naming my first play of the game 'Probably won't get a better one' but I've come so far, to a silver portrait even, and I'm proud of it. Many things have changed in both the game and my life, but at least I have memories and this video makes me excited to create more of them. Stuff like this makes me tear up and I have no clue as to why. Character deaths? Nah. Real life videos of children reunited with their military parent? Nope. A girl I care for confessing she feels the same way? Not really. BUT THIS? Stuff like this wrecks me. Maybe its just something as ultimately pointless as a game somehow reaching this many people, inspiring people to create amazing works of art like this, and then bringing that many more people together. Then again, I look back on nearly all the Overwatch cinematics and the reveal trailer and remember I teared up just as hard on every single one. I don't know, maybe its something as simple as just being able to see the heart and passion that's been put into this game, and when it causes someone to make a video like this that makes my entire week, I just lose all my manly defenses xD

DUDE! the first time I watched the cinematic trailer, I legit teared up too. And it was the WEIRDEST THING. This song also effects me emotionally despite having no story/very little "lyrics". I'm fairly certain it has to do with the sounds/beats. There is a sound that makes people get paranoid/anxious, I'm sure there's sounds that do the same with other emotions. It's fascinating. Full disclosure: I actually do get emotional about other things, but I'm usually really in touch with why things effect me. The suddenness and randomness of the two examples above were super surprising to me.
