FYI, THIS is what COUNTRY MUSIC sounds like. None of this “Oh country’s evolved “ crap. THANK YOU Leeann, and others for staying true to the sound!

Man has evolved and look at all the trouble we cause. So much for evolution.

I so agree with you! Country music these days is quite simply not country music. Lee Ann has a beautiful voice - the sort of voice that can sing 'proper' country.
@Ken-mu3dc2 жыл бұрын
Couldn't agree more. This is true country!
@frayjr1970 Жыл бұрын
She is sublime and superb. You could stack ten other current “country” artists and they still would not reach the hem of her dress. A delicate voice that is as strong as steel; on par with Alison Krauss and the one Dolly Parton.
@Burwell-fz3pu3 жыл бұрын
Lee Ann is truly a master of her craft. Always underrated and probably under appreciated by the so-called industry. THIS, is how Country Music is supposed to be V.G. would love this...

As a working musician and a player for 60 years I can tell you this, There are singers and then there are natural born, ultra pro vocalists like Lee Ann Womack. As the old saying goes, "She could sing the phone book". Apparently she didn't kiss Nashville's L.A. & NY Bosses ring often enough!!!

I like Lee Ann Womack but there are very few singers that should ever try this song. I don't know her life's story but she didn't seem have any real emotion to invest. She's got a great voice, but the missing sadness made it seem flat.
