Takes me back to when I was young, mum would run a bath whilst I was in bed with a big grin on my face listening to the water, and If I wasn't listening in bed I would have been laying on the bathroom floor feeling the vibration also! Thank you so much for the videos

Interesting! I also did this as a kid. I wonder why we find it so relaxing? I’ve looked into it a bit and there are theories that the sound of running water resembles what we hear in the womb.

I don't have any fancy story to tell as i dont really have a bath tub but i can imagine and relate to all these stories in here and it makes me feel so fuzzy and warm. I love the sound water makes when it splashes. I love how i can physically feel my stress go away when i listen to the drops slowing hitting the surface and i love the tingling sensation it gives me when the itsy bitsy water droplets splash me on my face. I just love water so much man i just cant even do it justice by trying to express it with words. It's priceless to me and i will always appreciate that i get to enjoy these type of sounds whenever i want on my phone.

My bedroom as a kid was opposite the bathroom door on the landing. Whenever someone took a bath I would go and lay down on the landing carpet outside the door and feel the warmth of the pipes through the floor as I lay there. Listening to the sound of the bath filling and wishing the sound to never end. Chills on my body but the warmth from the carpet heated by the water pipes. I never forget those times and it still stay with me today.

sometimes i'd lie down without a towel below me...on the freezing cold tiles, but have a towel draped over my whole body, right next to the tub, while the hot water filled up, and splashed its tiny droplets over ...the amazing asmr/frission/chill up my spine was amazing. its 10pm in Melbourne Australia, im just about to go into my en suite and have a hot shower in the dark, with a faint light from my bed side lamp minutely shining in.

Stbym..... I swear....ive been looking for this ever since I first got into asmr a few years ago and settled with rain on a tent.... I suffer from severe migraines and I need calming sounds to help me..... This takes me back to my first episode as a child and hearing my mum run the bath with the heating on..... Just seriously takes me......home..... Thank you for this.... You truly are a genius in the art of asmr

Yes sane I been looking for one it helps so much because if I dont get to sleep my mom shouts at me and it really works I actually think your the best person ever now because of you I get money I wish I could give you some I'm sorry tho thank you do much king or queen

My mom used to wake up early every morning and she would take long baths or showers. Hearing this sound while it was dark outside, was always a good feeling to me as a kid. It's a comfort sound for me. Hearing the shower or bath makes me more relaxed and feel safe. And i sleep alot better because of that. I heard this sound for 20 years of my life. 6 years not hearing that sound because you're a grown adult living an hour from your mom is sad. So glad i found these videos on youtube. Because my shower does not make these sounds, but this ome is similar to my moms shower.

STBYM, Thanks so much for all you do for us water/bath ASMRs out here. You have helped us in so many ways, from help in falling asleep, to quelling anxiety, to help with focusing. Ever since is was little I found the sound of running bath water so soothing and magical. It made me feel secure and peaceful. Now, at 66 I still feel that way. I have a request for you. I like to run the water slowly (rather than a full open tap, and not just a dribble either) because of the soft drumming sound it makes on the bottom of the tub. The sound is a hollow, almost background sound. I used to run the water more slowly as a kid because it meant I could stay in the bathroom longer and have more time to listen and get the shivers. Could you give this one a try? Thanks so much!
@AA-bz9kp6 жыл бұрын
A slow filling version would be amazing! I did the same, running the water more slowly/have the excuse to stay longer in the bathroom. The anticipation of the bath was always the best part and I remember feeling so frustrated when it was over too quickly :(
@SoundsToBlowYourMind6 жыл бұрын
Yes, should be able to do a slow bath filling version in future, thanks for the idea!
@maryjaneressler94595 жыл бұрын
Oh wow PJR! I used to do the exact same thing when I was a kid. I would run the water as slow as possible so I could listen to the sound of the running water longer. We had one of those old lions claw tubs that was gigantic! I'd turn the water on slow and wrap myself up in a big bath towel and sit and listen to the sound of the water filling the tub. It still puts me to sleep.

This is really good, except I would bump up the pipe sound a bit. It is being obscured by the running bath. As a child my bed was right by the water pipes where I could hear them as well as hear the tub filling. Really great. It put me right to sleep.

When I was a child in 1984 through 1987 I used to catch on to running water and notably from that of the bath tub - I would lay my head down on the ledge of the tub and listen to the water pound therein. Now that I am nearly 43 in less than a month - I find that that hasn't ever evade my inner drive - as a Scorpio ( I am not a big Astrology fanatic ) I find that the Water sign congruous with Scorpios must mean something to my pursuant interests therein. I miss the 80's - great music and great cinema! Though listening to running water helps me to feel young again!

Hey brother, I know this comment is like 5 years late, but I figured I’d ask anyway. Would it be possible to record the noise of the water going through the pipes from like an adjacent room? I am right next to the bathroom in my house and whenever someone runs the shower, the pipes make the most wonderful, deep rumble.
