Hello, how did you program the light? I just got the soundswitch a few days ago and bought a swarm fx 5 light but can't seem to figure out how to address it correct and program it. Mind helping? Thanks so much!

You have to go into edit mode, and search the lights that you have. And program them to the song. Or you can do default mode which will auto sync. Or you can custom your lights song by song

@@roderickbullock7520 thank you for responding, I ended up returning the light and buying different lights. The file had been revised in soundswitch and from my research there are many issues with the fixture with that light

What settings on soundswitch turn on the laser to the various settings? Is it just the colors/intensity controls?

Yea, agreed. great job Antony! I'm just getting started learning this stuff. Two questions. 1. What percentage of what we're seeing is auto scripted vs hand crafted? Guessing almost the entire five minutes of this performance was hand crafted where you brought on and off each lights specifically by hand. 2. How long did it take you to script this five minute show? (not including hardware setup, etc. just the soundswitch programming). Thanks in advance. This is inspirational stuff and honestly, the first admirable example of a light show for small-ish dj gig setups. bravo dude.

P Mon thank you indeed that’s great feedback. I’m still learning the software but also the Lighting game myself, I’m a video editor by trade so my style of lighting is I feel they should take you on a journey and also have something happening all the time to keep the viewers attention. I also Autoscript the track, as love the tool but also save a lot of time. I then go back to the start and tweak each section I want to change, I don’t like all lights being on all the time, I save that for the drops or chorus. These are my first attempts so took me quite long, this one was about an hour per minute. But as I’m a perfectionist I’m probably taking longer that normal ha! I have recorded 3 other tracks that I will be sharing soon. I love it and I’m glad there are fellow artists that enjoy doing it too :)
