truthfully speaking, as a drummer and music lover and human being, Tomas is one of my, if not most significant heroes/influences...he is such a deep thinker and disciplined drummer...

Ive seen you play live 6 times and as a fellow drummer i'm telling you that nobody could play those complex songs as well as you - as close to perfect as is humanly possible \\m//

Brilliant stuff....great interview. The more inteviews I see,the more I am convincedof how smart Metalheads are.The world thinks we re stupid dumb wasters but bands nowadays everywhere in the world seem to be highly opinionated, knowledgeable, articulate and smart.Thats who we ve always been.I m proud to be one.Cheers from India, god bless.

it's fucking awesome that he likes chomsky. i always thought his lyrics were very bitter and anti authoritarian, even as far back as the chaosphere days. awesome to know he's well informed.

+werewolvesbyday Totally dude. There aren't many drummers who not only write such complex music but also write the lyrics. Tomas is a pretty special artist. :)

gumenski I just meant this show. Soundwave TV it's called? It kind of reminds me of early 90's MTV. I just love to hear my favorite musicians have a casual conversation with someone.

Love Tomas and his work in Meshuggah, but I'm kind of disappointed here. The only thing one can really learn from reading Hitchens is how little Hitchens really understands religions and their histories.

lol these people dont know man. they buy somecheap ego trips and on sale is the most valuable possesion. purity of intention of heart. monks, wizards, philosphers, wise man, shamans, all search for it their whole lives with their whole hearts just hoping for a glimpse. these fools deride it without knowing anything of its. oh well. i hope they get it soon. i just hope to be like these sincerely hearted people who give up everything for truth. that is real music man
