The Moonlight Moths are used for a lot of multi account Skilling in different mini games that involves combat and allows you to keep your prayer up. Also very good when clans PK in the wilderness meaning they can get more kills vs super restores or even prayer pots because of the spread buff. My clan buys about 2k and then we spread them out per week

Extracts don't benefit from the raiments of the eye - the 8k you earned from the inventory of 25 rune essence was *entirely* from the 80 cosmic runes you would have crafted without the extract. The other 1500 runes covered the cost of the extracts and nothing more. You would have made more money if you didn't spend the time mining & making extracts and just crafted cosmics. For the sunfire runes, it *is* the only way you make a profit though, since the splinters effectively divide their cost by like 60 when you use an extract - that seems to be factored into the price of the splinters/runes.

My go-to slow sell money maker is empty bullseye lanterns. Especially at low-levels. For some reason, you can get bullseye lenses and frames for absolutely nothing (10-50gp total), and they often peak at anywhere from 1.2-2.5k. It takes basically no time to assemble the lanterns, and they sell pretty regularly. It's a great starter money maker.

Moonlight moth mixes are the best prayer points to gp. As they always give 22 prayer points they can even be better than prayer sips at lower levels. If you're doing a prayer slayer task you can get away with just using them instead of prayer pots most of the time. Butterfly jar method is a very good way to get jars as the buy limit is only 40. That's very nice.

The extracts for rune crafting don't care about multipliers, they're a flat 60 or 100 runes each. So double cosmics with outfit and scar ess is 63.2 runes per pure ess, vs 61 if you could only do single cosmics without outfit.

Arceuus Library Teletabs are super profitable. Like, insanely so, they go for 1900gp some days, and only cost you one Law Rune and some time to make, if you have the right elemental staff. You can cast Library Teleport with some extra Laws in your inventory to cut down how far you have to run, making your run energy last longer, which works both ways; cast after you enchant the Essence Block to get closer to Ouditors house for the lectern, cast again after making tablets to cut down your run time back to the essence mine. You make so much money per inventory, using a couple extra laws per inventory means nothing.

Moonlight moths can be made into moonlight mixes by adding hunter meat. The meat is super inexpensive as hunter rumors spew them out in noted form. Those moonlight mixes restore 44 prayer points over two doses. Thus catching moonlight moths and making mixes "prints cheep prayer potions." Moonlight mix is great for things where inventory efficiency dosen't matter much. Like huey, mole, scurrius, or even big bosses that you can just port back to like zulrah. As of writing this a player with 77 prayer restoring prayer via prayer potions is paying 82.26 gp a prayer point. The same player using moonlight moth mix pays just 56.81 gp a prayer point assuming moth mixes are bought at 2500gp(as thats more realistic price than the current 2000) and prayer potions at their current ge price of 9214.

The big thing on moonlight moths is that they restore a flat 22 prayer per dose, so they're good even at low prayer, and if you turn them into moonlight moth mixes with a hunter meat you get 2 doses of the same flat 22 prayer (but lose the aoe effect in multi). Idk how much the mixes are actually going for (I suspect that the real selling price is different from the wiki, just like the regular moths), but that could be a moneymaker on its own. I don't think there's any area where they're better than prayer pots/restores (if you're doing high end multi combat with friends, you probably have someone who can lunar if sharing potions is *really* that important to you), they're just cheaper alternatives.

My unusual money maker is pickpocketing elves in Prif while I have a Magic Butterfly Net in my inventory. Every time I fail a pickpocket I world hop and if I see a Crystal Impling I catch it. You can highlight the Crystal Implings on the minimap with the "Implings" Runelite plug-in. I've made some good money this way, got a few crystal acorns too.

the reason the moths are traded so much, is because with a single piece of meat you can turn them into a mix, which is the same effect of +22 prayer to up to 3 people, but it's 2 doses, meaning a single slot can restore 132 prayer points, which is more than a prayer pot at level 99, it's mainly used for low level group slayer/bossing, since you can pull so much prayer restoration that you wouldn't normally be able to get

For the moonlight moth method, you can bring runes for Vile Vigour to restore your run energy. This will save GP on stam pots, and you can refill your prayer by just catching an extra moonlight moth each trip.

I found out if you set your huntman's kit to say "use" while its in your bank, and you have the jars be the LAST thing in the kit at the end, using the kit while in your bank pulls out the jars for faster unloading :) This could also work for Impling jars or anything else stored in mass in the kit.

Another thing you can do is use the lunar spell "hunter kit", open it up and instantly deposit all items into the huntsman kit. Since the spell is only 3 or 4 ticks it actually ends up being much better xp/hr than alching and you can do it without a bank similar to alching, although you need 7 or 8 free inv slots to open the kit and it is more tedious than alching. You get imp jars and the other junk which can be sold, and the spell itself is pretty cheap to cast. I did this on my iron for the jars so i have no idea about gp/hr.

I’m still saying the big fishing net with the tackle box in Moons of Peril dungeon is pretty good. It does rely heavily on GE prices and daily volumes, but hey it’s free money. I can’t remember the GE price exactly but it was somewhere around 600gp each. I made around 220k in about 15 minutes and they took less than 2 hours to all sell
